Everything was perfect in this small well run hotel. The room at the front of the hotel was really comfortable and clean, with a small balcony. The bathroom was really roomy to. It was only a short walk from the Train station and a lovely walk into the centre of Munich again only a short walk. The staff were very... More

This is the 7th time to be a guest at Uhland hotel Munich which I consider it my house in Munich . This hotel is a real respectable family hotel . It is one of the oldest hotels in Munich where traditions and ethics are dominant .Although of the old building it is yearly renovated and Brigitte the owner is... More

This beautiful hotel is on a small, private street but within walking distance to everything you need in Munich. The rooms are lovely and comfortable with big, beautiful windows. The breakfast selection is varied and delicious. The staff are delightfully nice and all speak English but were also happy to converse with me in German; I was so pleased to... More

Pros: The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the main train station and is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. It is literally a three minute walk to the Oktoberfest grounds so if you're going for that, you might like to stay here. The room was decent and clean; we had a room on the front of the... More

We stayed here before, in 2011, and this time around it was even better. We had room 14 which had a balcony and faced the front (street). The room is very big, has a desk and chairs and a refrigerator. It is clean, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. There are plugs for charging, conveniently located. The WiFi can... More

This hotel was clean and efficiently run by the suit wearing boss Nate. When we (2 women, each with a 10 year old girl) arrived in Munich around dinner time, we were tired and hungry. Nate proceeded to recommend a restaurant called Millennium. He brought a card out and said how fantastic this place was. What he didn't tell us... More

Tripadvisor and many other rating sites hold this hotel in high esteem. They are all right. This is a gracious hotel and a wonderful value. Clean and spacious rooms, excellent service, and a quiet neighborhood (except, we are told, for Octoberfest!). We would surely stay here again.

This hotel has plenty of old-world charm set in a mostly quiet elegant neighborhood with easy access to public transport. Nate and the ladies at the desk are full of helpful information about sightseeing, dining and general Munich info. The U-bahn station is quite close, but easy to miss because it blends into the Octoberfest landscape. A fortifying breakfast is... More

The girls are wonderful, but the "boss" treats them hard in front of the customers, that was ugly. Also don't understand why the Bavarian outfits notoriously not usual clothing on them. Hotel is nice, I would change the breakfast and make the coffee self-service. I would rather take my own coffee from the machine that having it served by the... More

A beautiful, well-run hotel in Munich. The staff are very responsive, friendly and welcoming. Quiet yet convenient neighborhood near the Octoberfest grounds, which are surrounded by a shady path perfect for runners. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Breakfast is plentiful and good. Highly recommended.
