I really recommend this hotel if you want a more boutique experience rather than a business hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms are all individually decorated with cute themes (my mum's was a typical Bavarian room, mine was a black and gold opera-themed room!) and the location is really great, in a quiet part of the... Quaint, charming and comfortable. Lovely, pleasant and conveniently located. Relaxing stay. Breakast was beautifully served in an old world setting full of charm. Staff was willing to help in any way they could. We will go back!

Hotel Opera is in a great position, only 100 metres from Lehel underground station and 50 metres from Maximillian Strasse, so therefore a 10 minute walk into the centre of Munich. The reception area of this boutique hotel is somewhat "chocolate boxey" but nicely done. Breakfast is taken around the reception area in smaller anti-rooms, and so quite private. Very... More

A lovely small stylish hotel in the centre of Munich. Quite, elegance, a beautifull design with passion for the art. I believe that hotel Opera is an ideal place for discerning people who value individuality and luxury. The owners are very interested people very charms and friendly.

A weekend trip to Münich and because of the football matches on that same weekend, most hotels were booked already. It was by sheer luck we stumbled into the last room at this fantastic little boutique hotel. It has all the old charm of the previous century; high ceilings, carvings, antique furniture, all white with draperies, mirrors. The little breakfast... More

If you are looking for something special instead of your avery hotel chain, this beautiful boutique hotel is perfect! It is located in an old town-house and full of charm, has wonderful rooms with high ceilings furnished with an ecclectic mix of antiques and new things. Great attention to detail! The location if fabulous, just around the corner of the... More

I stayed at the Hotel Opera for a weekend with a group of 20 supporters of Welsh National Opera. It is in an old and characterful but beautifully refurbished building, very quiet, comfortable and unobtrusively elegant. No two bedrooms are the same, lovely old furniture, all staff very attentive but don't fuss you. Excellent breakfasts brought to you at small... More

Good situation, very aesthetic, near to the city centre and to the luxury shop avenue (Maximilianstrasse). 1 night in a standard single room, 155€ for a good quality ; many welcome products, spacious, private veranda, arrangement, security ... I found my room (27) and the hotel in general very quiet. It was very impressive. Very kind and smililng staff, before... More

I wasn't expecting that much after reading some TA reviews but this is a really nice hotel. We had a triple room which was plenty big by European standards. The location in Lehel couldn't be better...a nice, quiet neighborhood with a direct U-bahn connection to Oktoberfest and an easy walk to the old town. Breakfast was good and service was... More

Interesting stay. My first time in Munich so I'm not sure if the standards are specific to Munich or not, but very small bathroom, no AC, a little sun room in every room, statues and other unique art work in the lobby. During summers, the rooms can be a bit warm. The staff were very nice. Location is good as... More
