Our rooms were lovely - we had a room with a double bed, off of which was a smaller bedroom with two single beds which suited our teenage daughters very well. The bathroom was beatifully decorated, with a lovely large jacuzzi bath and separate shower. The rooms looked as if they had just been decorated, everything was so fresh and... more

We stayed at the Hotel Kriemhild for five nights in September. The hotel was clean, modern and roomy. It is located about 20 minutes from Marienplatz and easily accessible by tram. The Hirsch Beergarden is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, but is only open for outside seating June-August. The staff are very helpful, attentive and friendly. The breakfast... more

We drove from the airport and did have a little difficulty finding the hotel. The location was very quiet but just a few steps from a great beer garden where we spent relaxing evenings in a great atmosphere. We took the tram to Munich center which was very easy and very reasonable. We bought the ticket costing 9 euros from... more

Once again we booked our 3 day break here on the strength of previous reviews - perhaps not fully appreciating that it is out of the city quite a bit. However do not let that put you off! The bus from the airport drops you at the main station......buy your 3 day pass for trains, buses and underground use for... more

The Hotel Kriemhild was very nice, newly renovated, and convenient to a lovely outdoor restaurant, "Hirschgarden" where we spent two fun evenings. Accomodations were pristine and breakfast was ample. Very nice people! more

Stayed in a "family room" which had a separate room with two additional beds, which was nice for the kids. These types of rooms were harder to find than expected in Munich and this arrangement is a great plus for families of 3-4. This room was large, though looking into some vacant rooms this was not the case for all... more

After staying at this hotel, I was confused by its extremely high rating on TripAdvisor. The room we stayed in was large, but dated, and the bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The day we arrived, the temperature outside was over 30 degrees C, but the rooms are not air conditioned, and there were no fans available. Luckily, the... more

This is our second time staying here. It still has the great ambiance I remember. It had the perfect location for us as we were visiting friends in the neighborhood. It is walking distance from the Nymphenburg Palace and from the Hirschgarten, the largest beer garden in Munich. You can also walk to all public transportation. But they do have... more

We stayed at the Kriemhild at the beginning of our trip to Europe and again the night before we left. It is under construction, but we hardly noticed. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The breakfast is very good - Wiltraub (sp?) is the nicest woman and Eric is great. Close to everything, we got up early the first... more

We only stayed at Kriemhild hotel for 1 night, but it was a really excellent staying. The place is very clean (even comparing to Germany), the breakfast is excellent, it's very close to public transportation, supermarket and is located in a very quiet area. The owner (Eric) is very helpful, speaks perfect English and more importantly is willing to help... more
