I had a bad experience the first night - I was in a room in the main building on the street side. It was very noisy and stuffy but couldn't keep windows open due to cigarette smoke and noise. hotel reception changed my room to the back building - this was like night and day - excellent room, more modern... Large room with large bed. Plenty of room for bags. Full length mirror. Shower but no bath. Desk but no chair. Lovely linen. Pillows far to soft for my liking but bed reasonably firm. TV with the usual free-to-air, all German channels. Nice continental breakfast included with selection of meats, cheeses and fresh fruit.  Free wifi was a bit weak... More

This hotel was booked for me and I have to say it was a really pleasant surprise. The room was massive and included a sofa area, desk, modern bathroom and large bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. Small chocolates left on the pillow and desk area...a nice touch. This is not a chain hotel and feels more family-style despite its city... More

We booked this hotel at short notice for its location. Reception staff friendly. We were put on the 5th floor in an attic. Lift only went to 4th floor and we had already walked up one flight of stairs from ground level to reach reception. Our room had a fan but the only window in the room would not stay... More

The hotel is quite centrally situated and you can walk to the English Gardens from there, which is quite pleasant during the hot summer months! The breakfast is very good with a variety of fresh fruit, cereals and bread. The friendly receptionists are helpfull, yet perhaps slightly inexperienced. This seems due to the fact that the staff consisits of young... More

I went with a colleague in a business trip to Munich and our company reserved this hotel. The location was excellent since we were going to the Arri premises which are on the same street. And that was the only plus of this hotel. When we got there, we could find the door. There was no sign except for a... More

This used to be the Hotel Stefanie; I don't know when it changed its name, but there's little evidence of any spending to bring it up to a good standard - even assuming that was possible. Rooms are of variable size and so are the bathrooms. My room was just about adequate in size; the bathroom was tiny pre-fabricated plastic... More

"Das Hotel" is acceptable because it' situated very good in Schwabing so you are in a nice part of Munich but the Hotel itself is maximum average. On their website the rooms look quite romantic and nicely furbished but all the interior seems to be more old and frailed than antique. The bathroom was clean but old as well. The... More

Good location and surroundings ( restaurants, bars, shops ) also quite close to center/old town. Room was clean and nice. only what made me interested was that sink was in the room and not bathroom. But ok that wasn`t the problem :) Breakfast was nice and taste. the shortage is that reception is only till 9 PM afterwards you are... More
