Well, not quite the best rating -- great staff and wonderful breakfast, but try to avoid the rooms facing the street. Additionally, they only give you small packets of shower gel --- something I have never experienced before at a hotel

My wife and I only had a day in Munich and were taking an early train out the next morning. Based upon other reviews, we chose this hotel. Although there are a few "unusual" businesses in the area we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. This is more of a pension that a hotel....and that's not a bad thing. If you're... More

very close to the Hbf, the breakfast is good. But there is no lift--they gave us a room in the "first" floor, and the "first" floor in Euroupe is indeed one floor higher to the ground floor.

Aside from the reasonable pricing, there was nothing notable about this place. Although family owned, there wasn’t much of a family feel from the staff. When we arrived it was raining, and there was an older gentleman who checked us in, and a younger man sitting behind him- the older man spoke minimal English, so communication was challenging, and it... Stayed for one night, Room really clean (toilet a bit tiny), really good breakfast and friendly staff. Great Location. We stayed in one room in the corner so a bit far from the stairs and we did not hear anyone going up or down, so we had a good night sleep.

We stayed at the Hotel Eder for just one night for Munich city tour and for great Bavarian's food. The hotel location was just centrally located - all public transport can be accesses within a short walk whist restaurants, bars, shopping venues and major tourist attractions place were 5-10 minutes walk only. The hotel was decorated in the classic Bavarian... More

Really happy to find this hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good and freshly prepared... Rolls, cereal etc. Twin room is small but adequate. Family room more spacious. We stayed in room 26 which is opposite a staircase so a bit noisy as people up and down stairs.. But not really a problem. Rooms a bit on the wRm side...... More

We stayed here for only one night but were pleasantly surprised. The price was good for being so close to the centre and train station. I also liked that they included a good breakfast. The room was clean but quite small. If he had stayed for longer then that might have been an issue. Our room was on the third... More

This hotel had a family feel, very homely and not what you would normally expect from a cheaper hotel close to the central station. It was very clean and well kept, the rooms were modern and cleaned daily. The room i had wasn't huge, but it was fine. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The cot provided for my... More

Stayed in one of the standard quadruple rooms. Room was clean and provided plenty of space for a family of four (children ages 14 and 10). Hotel is within walking distance to attractions and very convenient to the main train station. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. Only gave three stars as I was yelled at by the night/morning staff upon... More
