My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night in July en route to Sicily from Dubai. The hotel was a great price and the room was clean and comfortable, everything you need after a day of sight seeing in Munich. The staff were not great, and check in and check out were both slow. The walls were... more

Very friendly and helpful staff. The closest underground station is a bit far off! more

The holiday inn being an american chain... I would never stay at a Holiday Inn in the states.... was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the windows open up, a real plus. he HI is close enough where you can hear the clockenspiel from the market place. What impressed me most was that dogs are welcomed... more

The hotel is a 10-20 minute walk from the u-bahn stop Arabellapark. There are no buses that run by the hotel, so you must walk. They do give you a map that is a shorter distance to the stop, but before you arrive, if you walk, you obviously do not know that path. The hotel from the outside is not... more

Travellers if you pay 85 euro a night alli expect is a clean room, with an ok bathroom. Here, you get ontop a very well working Air Con that keeps even the strongest summer heat at bay. Internet is free - too, but usually blocked by US college students that travel Europe. nothing to complain more

Got a reasonable rate from hotwire for much less than rack rate. no breakfast included for the cheap rate so cant comment about it. external facade of building looks dated but rooms are new and just great with comfortable beds though with a small bathroom. i had a bmw convertible from sixt for a few days and was delighted to... more

This was the 2nd time we stayed here during the expo we regularly visit. Before we stayed at the other half of the city and by car it was 1 hour to get to the Messe. This one (specially now, when we got known other ways too) you can get there in 20 minutes and still not too far from... more

I stayed at this hotel in April, 2007. It was easy to locate off the autobahn, Efnerstrasse is a main thoroughfare and is well signed. The neighbourhood is largely residential, with offices nearby. The subway station is about a 20 minute walk, but may be a bit far for those who don't walk or exercise much. The area is very... more

We stayed here at Oktoberfeat time 2007. (Sept 24 - 26 ) The hotel itself is a little tired and older looking on the outside but the interior was very nice. Our room was a Bavarian deluxe ( mini suite) with a 4 post wooden bed, wood lined walls and a seperate sitting area. We were very comfortable and happy. I... more

I was here for 1 night for a brief Munich visit. The other posters are correct that it is a bit out of the way, but the facilities are quite nice. I would say slightly larger than the average European hotel room and clean. It is very much average in other respects so not much to say. more
