I just came back from the Mandarin in Munich. Unbelievable luxury and service in a great location near everything downtown. Regular rooms are of suite size - including a walk-in closet, sitting area and desk area and king-size beds. We really liked this hotel. Booked through their website, Spring in Munich package. We received breakfast as part of the package. Great room with cathedral ceilings, huge luxurious bathroom, free mini bar and fruit daily. Friendly staff. Located right next to Marianplatz. Concierge very helpful. There are seven floors to this older hotel. Completely remodeled on the inside a year ago, they have thought of all of the modern amenities while maintaining a traditional feel of sorts.
