From the moment we drove up to this hotel, service was immediate and excellent. The rooms have just been updated and are very spacious. Good location across the street from the train station and 12 minute walk to Marionplatz. Great stay...would definetly stay again... more

The Le Meridien Munich was a comfortable base from which to explore nearby and surrounding areas of Munich. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive buffet breakfast on offer, which was included in our room rate. The central location of the hotel to the main train station, provided for easy transfer to and from the airport. The train station contains a number... more

We got the train from Munich airport to the central station and the hotel is right across the road. The hotel is well decorated, modern and the staff are very friendly (and thankfully spoke much better English than I can speak German). Our room was larger than I would usually expect in europe with air con, flat screen TV and... more

Very close to the tube station. Nice room big bed and good quality furniture and toiletries. Lovely lounge/bar area. Good selection of wines and nicely chilled too. Service was polite and very helpful concierge particularly so. The sauna was lovely but quite small (some Germans love to be naked so be prepared, as a female I was quite stunned by... more

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel for one night on the way to Salzburg. Lovely clean room, English speaking staff which were very helpful when it came to explaining on road parking and also excellent help when we couldn't get the TV to work. (It was us not the TV) Good location not too far away from anything. Free coffee... more

My gf and I stayed here for 3 nights during our vacation in May 2009. We chose this hotel as it is right across the street from the main train station and is very easy to locate after a long international flight. This meant we could take the train from the airport and avoid the expense of a taxi. It... more

After a long train journey it was a pleasant surprise just to cross the road to the hotel. We were upgraded on arrival to a very large, comfortable room. The extensive choice of breakfast fare ensured we didn't need to sample beer & wurst until well into the afternoon. Service was excellent, a barman noticed that I'd left my jacket... more

This was our second stay at this fine hotel within 6 months. We had twice nice refurbished and spacious rooms with a comfy king size bed. Just how I expect a hotel of this category to be. Nothing more, nothing less. We had breakfast included in our rate and it was yummy. Sitting on their terrace while sipping a Caffee... more

Excellent stay at the Le Meridien Munich. Conveniently located across from the main train station. We rode the S-bahn to and from the airport with no problems. U-bahn is also at the train station, making it easy to get around Munich. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the old part of Munich (Rathaus area); we do a lot of... more

We stayed two nights at the Meridian. Upon checking in, I needed to use a computer and decided to take advantage of their "Internet via Television" service. This involves using a wireless keypad and the large LCD television to access the Internet. The system worked very, very poorly from a performance standpoint. The speed of the system was okay, but... more
