The only reason I rated this hotel a 4 was because of the rudeness of the concierge. He was most unpleasant and unhelpful. Other than that the hotel was very well placed opposite the train station. The bed was the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept in a hotel, it was truly luxurious, an absolute pleasure at the... More

We had a limited amount of time in Munich so I spent a little more to be centrally located and it was the right decision. The hotel was super easy to find and the location to the train station as well as city center made for easy navigation. The staff was helpful and for a little more we were upgraded... More

The Hotel is right across the road from one of the main exits of the main Munich railway station. That has its obvious advantages if you're using the train to get around Germany. On the other hand, if you're looking for a Hotel that offers a bit of peace and quiet, it's probably not for you. It's just a short 10-minute... More

My husband and I spent five nights at Le Meridien (including Christmas day). We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful for all requests and inquiries. We had a fabulous and very spacious room overlooking the court yard on the top floor. Directly across the road and an easy walk to Marienplatz this is an ideal place to... More

I received excellent service; I received an upgarde to a very nice very spacious room without asking even though I hadn't booked through Starwood. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful More

We arrived at the hotel at 5:00AM on Sunday after a long overnight bus ride from Florence. A bit early for our reservation, for sure. The front desk manager could not have been more helpful. Not easy to prepare a room without housekeeping staff but by 8:00AM we were in a beautiful room, high floor, and had a wonderful breakfast... More

The hotel is NOT a five star as advertised. I have never experienced a five star hotel that did not have wifi in their rooms. You pay almost $30 per day for wired internet. There is no tea/coffee facility in their rooms. If you ask for cups to make your own tea, they charge you for the cups ! If... More

I stayed here for two nights during April of 2012. We were picking up a car at the BMW Welt and booked the Le Meridien, Munich as SPG Gold members. Checkin was cheerful and the standard 3 gifts were offered for SPG Gold. We chose the internet and it worked as promised. The bar was comfortable and served good sausage... More

We stayed here for 3 nights visiting relatives in the area. We had just come off a great cruise and decided to splurge a little (well a lot). Stayed here for SPG points and the proximity to transportation. Across from the train station. It seems this is mainly a business hotel with some tours (at least on the weekend). I... More

As an SPG platinum holder decided to give the Meridien a try - very warm welcome from the front office manager and clearly went out of their way to offer me a pleasant stay. Like all Munich hotels it is busy and I was disappointed that the only restaurant was packed and wouldn't take any more bookings for the evening... More

Dear Brydon_n, Thank you for your review! I am sorry to hear that we could not accommodate you in our restaurant Le Potager. It is very popular with guests as well as locals, so we cannot always guarantee a table. We are more than happy to book a table for you in advance for your next stay to avoid any... More
