I was satisfied with service and clea ess of the room, everything is fine. But that place is more 3 stars than 4 because of style. The main thing is that hotel is situated in Arabian part of Munich. But anyway, good price for good equipment in the room.

and generally, an ample, variegated breakfast! This is do-it-yourself: juicing oranges on an efficient electric machine. And coffee--in several varieties--à discrétion, similarly from a state-of-the-art maker--not to mention the, by now in an estalishment of such level customary, hot and cold fare. The guest room we had, to the back (recommended for quietness), was pleasant, well lit, large enough, comfortable... More

Room basic but very clean & modern. Was able to checkin at 11.30am as arrived early so room was available conveniently. Short walk from train station down a very bustling street with lots of ethnic eateries & shops. Quite a few unsavoury characters in the area but I expected this being close to the station and surrounded by lap top... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during Oktoberfest with our 3 month old. Upon checking we were told that we had been given a slightly larger room facing the courtyard because it would be quieter for the baby. How nice! The staff was so friendly our whole stay. The hotel was walking distance from the train station which was convenient... More

One of many hotels surrounding the Munich HBHF I was a little anxious because I had chosen it from many similar because it had a minibar. We were however very pleased with Room 201 and it had the laminate/wood flooring referred to by another reviewer. The corridor on our floor was a bit dark & dingy with old carpet however... More

Hotel Astor enjoys a central location near the Munich central station. However, it it is also at the heart of the sex club district and is directly next door to the Tiffany Bar. This makes any stay at the end of week or during a sporting event an extremely noisy event. Despite the excellent breakfast, the atmosphere over your freshly... More

The location is great ...just a short walk from the Hbhf. Rooms are a bit Old but the flooring was recently done ( laminate/wood) so it was clean. The bathrooms need some work. It was acceptable since I was there for a 1 short night .. The room was on the first floor was decently quiet.

Positives: the hotel is within easy walking distance of the main Munich train station; the Marienplatz; and Residenz. Also, the breakfast buffet was well-stocked with good choices. Cons: the shower in the bathroom was worn and in need of replacement (see photo); the neighborhood of the hotel was so-so; front desk didn't sell postage; and the only available outlet in... More

Top floor room. No lift to get there so I had to climb the stairs from the 5th to the 6th floor carrying my own luggage. The room was very cold and it took me two days to get both of the radiators heating it a little bit. However the bathroom had no radiator and it remained cold. The shower... More

Loved this hotel, the desk clerk was helpful and provided recommendations for wonderful local eateries. He also gave us directions for touring on our own - very helpful and extremely friendly. The only down side was the night club across the street. It can get loud at night but I was able to sleep through the night. My roomie shut... More
