As my business trip was right smack during the Football fever in Germany, I had very little choice with rooms etc. However, the Hotel Carlton made up for it in terms of location and the good breakfast. Don't be deceived: the Carlton in Munich is nothing like the posho Carltons you may have visited elsewhere. But it is a pleasant, cheerful place to put up for a few nights. You wouldn't want to spend any time in the rooms, as they're mostly quite small, but for the price this is a reasonable place to spend the night.... more
