We were pleasantly surprised by this place. It is really close to the train station and very easy to find. The room was quite nice and larger than expected. Everything in Europe is small. The rooms were clean. The front desk was very accomodating. We got there early but were able to get in our room. The breakfast was excellent... More

I stayed there with my family for 4 nights. Great service n excellent location. If you want to visit Munich during Oktoberfest, this hotel would be the best option. It fits into middle class budget as well. Only drawback is that they don't have restaurant, but as it's just 200m away from Munich Central station, finding restaurant would not be... More

Hotel near of the Central Train Station, we was there for the Oktoberfest and was a perfect stay, the rooms are normal but with all the facilities, the housekeeping team make a great service and the room was really clean in all the stay. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, only we miss some hot plates like wurtz.... The Front... More

We stayed at the Hotel Alfa in September for 4 nights (in time for Oktoberfest) The room was clean and much larger than I thought it would be after travelling around Europe. We were on the 2nd floor and had a room facing the road - I was expecting noise from patrons returning from the Oktoberfest but there was no... More

I was in a tour group that checked into the 4You youth hostel. When I saw the room it was too small, dirty, and noisy so I went next door to the Alfa. Fortunately they had a room with a bed and a sleeper sofa that was already pulled out and made into a bed. The front desk staff were... More

Close to the Main Train station and walking distance from Oktoberfest I really don't know why the other people are complaining. We had a really good experience at Hotel Alfa. The desk clerks were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms were clean, the lift worked, although we mostly used the stairs. Our room faced the back courtyard and we... More

The only thing good about this hotel is it's location, 200m from Munich hauptbahnhoff. They are basic, miserable and their room smells. Things that went wrong: - miserable. They charge €20 to give you the remote to use air-conditioning. Otherwise there was no heating or anything else. That was their winter of 0 degrees. Staff said he didn't feel cold,... More

If you want a central hotel near Central station and well-placed for oktoberfest, this is a good choice. Rooms are small and basic and breakfast ok but it's reasonable value. Ten minute walk to central munich and fifteen to theresenwiese.

A great place for a city break. near the station and walking distance of all the sites. very clean and warm. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Staff were able to recommend good places to eat. The breakfast room was warm and inviting though could have done with more staff at busy times. Rooms small but very well lit
