I travel to Munich often and it is the only hotel my family and myself stay in. I love it! It is very clean, the hotel staff is always so friendly and helpful. Perfect location, close to the main train station, tour buses, city center, stores, supermarket. Great deli with daily specials right next door. There is also an Italian... More

This hotel is about 3 blocks further from Marienplatz than the train station, so it is about a 15 or 20 minute walk to the core. However, the people and facilities at this hotel make it well worth it. The area feels very safe and it is quiet at night, even on the street side. The front desk staff are... More

A very pleasant stay: excellent location, nearby the main station, underground and city centre; nice and original furniture (not the standard modern hotel without a personality); perfect cleanliness; excellent breakfast; very quiet and silent room with outstanding isolation from the street; and especially an extraordinary kindness by all personnel and staff, from reception to breakfast to cleaning staff. Recommended!

The staff were frendly, obliging and conversant in English. I know very little German and my grandson and son-in-law know none. The physical facilities were excellent, the roooms clean, comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the WIFI also as we could log onto the World Wide Web. The location near the Haupbahnhof and Marienplatz wasa also a big plus. All of... More

Great beds, well equiped rooms, perfect breakfast, nice bar. Next to City Center, easy to be reached by foot. Parking in the hotel or next door in public parking. Breakfast is very good and served not too early!

That sounds a bit lukewarm and I really had nothing to complain about at all. You might just find the place lacking a bit of character and bit locked into the 80s, not least the decoration of the room ( in fact add a century to that to take account of the dark carved wooden canopies above the bed ).... This hotel is very close to main railway station and walking distance to the old town. Our room was not so spacious but with imperial decoration :). Service at the reception is outstanding and we got all the possible help we needed. Breakfast is not included and we didn´t take it so can´t say anything about it. A minus was... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very helpful and the room was nicely decorated. The free wifi worked quickly and the location was convenient for getting to the train station. We didn't have breakfast here as there are cheaper alternatives elsewhere nearby. Our luggage was able to be stored in a cupboard by reception which was useful.... More

Overall the hotel is well located and very clean. Rooms are small but nice. I didn't had breakfast so I cannot comment. There is a really good italian restaurant across the street of the hotel. I was very dissapointed with the customer service of the staff. The hotel made the mistake of not charging my stay at the time of... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in August. Loved it from the moment we stepped in. Beautiful room with a royal touch. Breakfast is very decent and nice. A convenient place for the main railway station - 8-10 minutes walk to the Munich HBF. If you have booked day tours to visit the royal castles or any other place the pick... More
