We stayed here recently when visiting Munich, and again we were very fortunate to be given a corner suite which was massive. Staff were friendly and although this was not the biggest or most beautiful hotel we have stayed in, probably quite basic, it was more than adequate given that we were only ever there to sleep or to come... I found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable in a quiet location with excellent access to public transport. Room was a good size and bathroom also. Very helpful receptionist. The room rate was very economic even for a three star hotel in the city centre.

The main plus is location. Hotel closed to citycentre ( 10 min till Mrienplatz). Stuff is helpful. We had very early check out ( 4am) and asked for a breakfast-boxes. We received it in the morning water, orange, 2 sandwiches) . Room... Room only for one night, not more.. Furniture is old, everything is not clean, windows are very dirty..... More

We stayed here for Oktoberfest 2014. This hotel is very basic and a bit dated, and was quite expensive for what it is, but we booked it so that we could be within walking distance of Oktoberfest, with the understanding prices would be high. With that said, it served its purpose just fine. Check in was swift, there is a... More

There is nothing nice to say about this hotel. First the staff couldn't find our reservation, then my husband and I were given a room with two single beds. We were moved to a different room which had a double bed pushed against the wall, however there was only 1 pillow, towel etc. and we had to phone reception to... More

Very close to Marienplatz and the main train station (about a 10 min walk, so not bad with your luggage). Walking distance to basically all attractions or you can get the train. The room we had was on the road side and we had a lot of noise all night which was annoying because it was hot and we wanted... More

I stayed at this hotel just before and during the Oktoberfest 2014. I booked this hotel because it is located walking distance to Marienplatz and it's very easy to access the entire city from Sendlingor Tor station. You do NOT need a car while staying in Munich. Just get a daily train pass and you can take the tram, Ubahn... More

Well located between the old town and the Oktoberfest - both easy walking distance. Has its own underground car park although not for the nervous driver! Room was small with no aircon and small bathroom. Breakfast buffet was ok. You pay for the location not the standard of the hotel. Two bars opposite who serve well into the night.

Nothing about this hotel blew our minds, but our stay here was comfortable for the most part. WiFi worked OK, though you needed to log in frequently which was a bit annoying. Rooms were a little out of date, but fine. Big complaint was that there was no safe in the room. It wasn't too hot in Munich when we... More

Some reviewers have said enough and some too much. The whingers must own opposing hotels in the vicinity the Bristol is spotlessly clean. Staff is excellent and friendly and location cannot be faulted. Would stay there again, no problem. Oktoberfest is ten minute walk there, twenty minute stagger back. Go for it!
