This is more a 2 star hotel with dated furnishings. The bathroom needs updating. It can be noisy at night. Transport was close which always makes a difference. A good breakfast was available. The female receptionist was very helpful.

If you want a hotel which is very central to the city centre. 5/10 minutes walk to the main shopping area, market and Marienplatz. It is a good base and we found it spotlessly clean. Rooms are small and, although in a side street off Sendlingor Tor Platz, other reviewers are right when saying that it is extremely noisy for... More

The hotel is good value for money and location to square etc. however we stayed for two nights and couldn't sleep at all as the street outside was terribly noisy and it seemed like the bin man and all deliveries etc were arriving all hours of the night! We didn't eat here so can't comment on breakfast quality. We breakfasted... More

I am writing this text now because I can't sleep due to the noise from the street. Right next to the hotel is a club and people gather outside to smoke or fight or whatever. The bathroom looks terrible. I had to fix the shower first and only then use it. We have paid almost 100 eur for a double room,... More

I stayed at Hotel Bristol for several nights during my trip to Munich. I had a double room on the second floor facing the courtyard with a balcony. The room was small but not a problem for just one person. While the room was clean, the fixtures, fabrics, and carpet appeared worn and could use some updating. The bathroom appeared... More

Nice hotel, but with the room on the street was a bit noisy at night. Great location with access to the subway and walking distance to the Marienplatz. Good value as well and the staff was nice and helpful when we needed to change our car rental reservation.

Where do I start with this fine establishment. The only good thing about the place is the location which is close to everything, however there are other hotels in just as good a location. I have never in the years I have travelled, which have seen me stay at upwards of 50 hotels, encounter such blatantly rude, arrogant and generally... More

We spent one need in Munich and needed somewhere reasonably central and not too expensive; the Hotel Bristol ticked both boxes. Very friendly multilingual staff, a clean & comfortable room and just a short walk to the centre of Munich (and just yards from the nearest U-bahn & tram stops). Only downside was a 1-inch gap at the bottom of... More

We chose here as it was quite near the train station. Imagine our joy when we found we were also only a 10 minute walk from one of the main squares, and within (a long but enjoyable) walking distance of the beautiful English Gardens. The hotel and room were immaculately clean, even though the hotel didn't look much at all... More

We stayed at the hotel Bristol while attending the last week of Oktoberfest in 2011. We found the location to be ideal. We were just 6-7 blocks walking distance from the Oktoberfest grounds. Additionally it's close to the tram and trains station. You are only a short walk from the Sendlinger straube (one of the main walking streets) that has... More
