I had to stay at Derag a week and I didn't like there. The rooms are very tight, it's very smelly in rooms and on the halls. They have single beds, too small for a good sleep. As for the cleaning part, I guess it can be better (I've found a lot of cigarettes butts in the balcony) more

First off, what's good: the location. Near the Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn. Easy for traveling to/from the airport, Hauptbahnhof, the City Center. Walking distance to many attractions. English-language movie theater nearby, as well as shopping and some decent restaurants. What's less good: everything else. The Max Emanuel is in dire need of renovation. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Its location is excellent, very close to the city centre and has direct train connection to the airport. Nice area with lots of shops and supermarkets. We stayed in Derag Hotel Max Emanuel for a night during our weekend trip to Munich. The hotel has a very excellent position, very close to s-bahn station where all s-bahn trains stop. Room: Basic room with kitchentte. 2 single beds pushed together, 1 moderate-sized window. Parking: Easy metered street-parking right outside.
