Stayed at the Germania for 3 nights. The hotel is basic but clean and friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was lovely, with all you could want, but if your a bacon & beans lover you won't get that. The Scrambled egg & sausages were lovely along with the cold meats cheeses, cereals, breads, and pastries. The shower was excellent. The... More

50 minutes from the airport by S1 or S8 train (E11) and short walk from Hauptbanhof. Door entrance is actually around the corner in Senestrasse next door to the Mercure. My room on 5th floor was clean spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but that is all I needed. Very close to all the places of interest. Thanks for the... More

We went to this hotel while in Munich for 3 days. The hotel is very average but its not dirty nor luxurious. If you want a standard place and find a good deal, this hotel is a great place to chose. The location was very good but the entry is slightly hard to find. The room was clean and spacious... More

Excellent location, just a few steps off the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and at a 15-minute walking distance from Marienplatz. The rooms were adequate and comfortable, warm and quiet. Breakfast was OK, nothing spectacular, the buffet was very limited. There's no free internet connection in this hotel, you have to pay if you want access to their Wi-fi. The receptionists... More

We spent a few days at Germania Hotel, the location of which was just what a tourist in Munich is looking for: just a few minutes walking from the main train station. The rooms were just fine, warm and comfortable. One thing I found strange though, was that we had to pay for an internet connection. Maybe that's something normal... More

We stayed at the Germania for one week and found it to be a great location with all needed amenities. It is one long block away from the Hauptbahnhof. The room was clean and basic - the beds were very comfortable. It was always a good night's sleep. The hot water in the bathroom made for a good shower. And... More

The hotel is quite basic however the room given to us was spacious and comfortable. The staff at the reception were very nice, friendly and informative. Breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, cold cuts and warm food. Even though the hotel itself is conveniently located close to the train station and is a short 15 mins walk to... More

Despite the tripadvisor rate I decided to book 3 nights in this hotel. It is very close to the main train station, reception team is kind and helpful. The room was a bit small but we have been there only few hours per day. Breakfast is international and is also a good point of this hotel. If I'll pass again... More

Wonderful 3-star property just 150 meters from the Hauptbahnhof in Munich. Staff very courteous and helpful at all times. We had a cosy room at the back of the hotel on the top floor and it was very quiet. Would have liked a firmer pillow but can't have everything! Continental breakfast more than adequate. All in all a great stay... More

This was the third time we stayed at the hotel Germania and the best because the hotel had been renovated since our last stay there. Everything was tidy and neat except for one lumpy pillow. We had a standard double, number 331, a very quiet room facing the inner court. The only problem was that the lift didn´t work yet... More
