Very clean rooms and bathrooms, comfy beds (and heavenly pillows!), excellent location (5 minutes walk from central station and approx 5-10 minutes walk from Marienplatz), good breakfast, good restaurants/lounges in the vicinity - we loved '35 millimeters' and 'Hotel Anna' for the evenings and they are only 5 minutes walk from Germania hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with 2 teenage children and were delighted with the location (5 mins walk from the main railway station). The price was good, the breakfast was fine, the hotel was very clean and it was very practical with no frills.

Bad rooms.dirty. Bad location surrounded by casinos, sex shops and strip clubs.a lot of noise at night. not for families with children or baby. No room service, no fridge at the rooms and there is no way to prepare hot drink in the room or feed a baby with boiled water. You have to wash baby bottles at the bath... More

The room had the perfect bed (I didn't really want to wake up). The room was very clean and to WC too. Germania hotel is near the Hauptbahnhof metro and train-station, and near the central square, named Marienplatz. The only disadvantage is that ther is no wi-fi connection and you have to pay 5 euros/day to have unlimited access to... More

This is a good hotel if you are on a budget, and it's a step up from a hostel. Directly opposite from Munich HBF, the location is ideal if you have arrived via train. Within walking distance from Marienplatz and it's next door to the Youth Hotel where the infamous beer tour ends... so it's just a hop and skip... More

Services OK, The rooms are clean, in a quiet place , nearby is a LIDL + groceries hotel close to the center, and to the rail station and also close from the departure point of all extra trips out of Munchen Overall a fare price paid for people who would like to have decent services each time I go to... i've been to this hotel 3 times. very reasonable rates -- cost me some 550 euros for 7 nights last summer! excellent location -- a stone's throw from the hauptbanhoff and within walking distance to the city center. rooms are small and cozy. TV channels dont cater for the non-german speakers -- though i believe there was a movie channel... More

Probably as in every city, this hotel's location speaks for itself. Surrounded by brothels, casinos, strip clubs and homeless people. Hotel itself is not too bad for the money spent. There is however no free wifi (5€/day) - though we did not have a luck to get one (they ran out of them...). breakfast simple but ok. Only German TV... More
