5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013 NEW

My partner and I went for a long weekend and found this hotel to be perfect for a budget getaway. It had everything we needed: it was cheap, had an included breakfast with lots of options, the location was absolutely superb, the room was clean and the service was very friendly and helpful. Yes, the rooms are a little outdated... More

I stayed at the Germania in May 2013. It's very close to the train station which was ideal. The street itself was a bit dodgy, however it was filled with hotels and hostels. We had booked a double room however there were none left. So we were given a triple room. It was very spacious! The bathroom was okay, stock... More

Was rather surprised at this hotel, as the outside looks rather shabby and gross. And the street you walk down isn't all that inviting. However the staff are friendly, and the rooms are a very decent size! Beds were comfy and bathroom is good too! Unfortunately it was quite noisy all through the night and the elevator was broken. Also... More

While this hotel is a little older, for the price it was very nice. The breakfast in particular was beyond what I am used to in European hotels. The room was larger than normal as well. Considering it is within walking distance of the Old Town,as well as being close to the train station it is a great bargain.

The rooms were very small and tired, felt dirty and the pillows were so pathetic they might as well have not even been provided. In addition to those things, wi-fi costs 5 euros a day! Even the hostel right down the street had free wi-fi. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The only good thing about... More

Despite being set amongst the strip clubs and casinos hotel germania was very safe and nice. The rooms were quite small, however bathrooms were nice and new and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was of a good quality.

Checked in today for a long stay. Unfortunately the wifi is not properly working. I am forced to do all of my work in the lobby or the stairs. The rooms are old and worn. I cant believe that this is what $200 euro/night gets you. Will be asking for a full refund and moving if the wifi isn't fixed.

There's nothing fancy about the Germania Hotel in Munich, but it is in a great location of you have a train to catch early in the morning. No taxi needed! Just roll around the corner and you're going to be face to face with Munich's Hauptbanhof. So convenient! The Germania is a simple, reasonably priced hotel. The room we had... More

I stayed at this hotel, on a city break to Munich(4 nights) The location is great for the train station & a 15 minute walk to the old town square & beer halls. Very close to the main pick up points for city tours & sightseeing days out. The hotel is clean, a little old fashioned in deco, the rooms... More

We visited in April and although it was very cold, our room was quite cosy. The size of the room is average and was very clean. Two things we didnt like much where the pillos where bot very comfortable and the quilts where to small for 1 person. At night the street is filled with youths since in the vicinity... More
