I was in Munich for a quick business trip. This hotel was moderately priced and it was pleasant for the price. The neighbourhood is convenient enough for the city and for Ostbahnhof. The room was pleasant, the free internet was acceptable, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the noise level was good.

We decided to go by train via Brussels, Collogne and Frankfurt it was an enjoyable ride to Munich, although it took approx. 10 hours and we arrived at the hotel around 21.50. The arrival to the hotel was well coming and booking in was quick. We did ask if we could have something to eat or at least have a sandwich and... More

I am rating this hotel as average, based upon the price offered during the Oktoberfest season (although I was there for business). It was reasonably comfortable and did the job. The location was suitable for my business meeting and the hotel is approx 10 minutes walk to the nearest S-Bahn, or an 8 Euro taxi ride from Ostbahnhof. The room... More

For the price, it was not a bad room for 3 days. It was in a convenient location if you like to walk. It is a rather long walk from the train station, and it was drizzling when we arrived while hauling luggage. However, it wasn't worth paying bus fare for just one stop. I confess that during the return... More

I stayed here the day before Oktoberfest started so I am not sure if it is normally so expensive but I felt that they were charging too much for the room. The room & hotel are very dated and the walls are pretty thin so you can hear all the people walking by and your neighbors and the street. Not... More

Try not to stay in the room where your windows face the main road when you have to leave the windows open in the summer nights. Noise from the vehicles moving in the nights can be disturbing. A mini supermarket "Tengelmann" is 5 mins walk away from hotel.

As we were going back to Munich last december to enjoy the Christkindlmarkt we wanted to stay at this charming hotel where we had been two yrs earlier in the summer. Notice that if your flight arrives after 22.00 remember to talk to the hotel before you arrive! The reception closes then and they will put your key in a... More

My sister and I booked this hotel on expedia. We received an email that the hotel operated a 24-hour check-in service. We arrived at 11:00 pm to find the reception closed and no one around. The website for the hotel did not say anything about reception closing at a certain time. I was very disappointed in the hotel and would... More

The room was spacious, spotless, with a bavarian flair, the bathroom was quite big and very clean. The hotel is very convenient to those who want to stay in city centre, it's only 5 min by bus to Marienplatz or by tram to Hauptbahnhof. Also there is a small bakery shop on the opposite side of the street which serves also... More
