Most big city hotels near main train stations are 'plagued' by low rent location and this is no exception, BUT - the hotel really is first class; clean, tidy, efficient and an excellent breakfast. Apart from some tram noise outside a good place to stay

I spent one night in the King's Hotel First Class as I looked into the reviews of the hotel. The room is well furnished as described in most of the reviews with mostly wood all around. The room is quite and I got good sleep, even if the location is bit noisy as there were Casinos all around and poor... More

Wonderful hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. Service was excellent and so was the food - german dishes are very delicious, but the wine isn't. I especially liked the atmosphere in the hotel. Recommend it!

This hotel does not feel first class at all. Location was ok, walking distance to train station, u bahn, dept stores and MarienPlatz is about 15-20 mins away. Netto supermarket is 2 doors away. That's the major plus. Reception seems a little unwilling to be at work? They appear unfriendly. Breakfast staff was great. A male staff kindly help me... More

The hotel itself is nice and well appointed. Rooms are a little small but hey it's a major city! Breakfast is quite extortionate at €18 per person! The location is near the haupbahnhof so as you can imagine not the most salubrious surroundings but a taxi is not too expensive from the centre if it's late at night. The staff... More

This hotel is very central situated and perfect for a few days. The room was small but very clean with tv, safe, coffee maker, comfortable bed and above all quiet ( back courtyard ). Complimentary water in the room and free wi-fi is great too. Breakfast was excellent and plenty. I liked the closeness to the train station and stachus.... More

Location: The sidewalk directly in front of the hotel is always filled with drunks and homeless people. A few steps up from the hotel is permanently parked a darkened windowed limo proudly advertising “Boobs”. Across from that is a “Gentleman’s Club” and on the corner one must stand to cross to get to a better part of town, are piles... More

The accomadation was excellent but breakfast was not included so we felt conned by misleading marketing. Breakfast was expensive at 18 euro and was very ordinary It was much cheaper to go out for breakfast Frontdesk staff were friendly and helpful.. The area around the hotel was a bit rundown so we taxied to and from the city centre. We... More

Don't hesitate for a second if you're considering a weekend break to Munich - it's fantastic City, with lovely people. Language is not a problem, as most of those we spoke to have excellent English skills (much to our embarrassment, as we couldn't reciprocate). Loads to do and fantastic restaurants and bier kellers. We stayed at the Kings First Class... More
