Nice boutique hotel. Staff helpful. Location on the east side of English garden and walking distance.2 U-Bahn station within 10 minutes walk. Not a lot of stores or bars around the hotel.usually need to go somewhere else. Room was of decent size for Europe with great quality bed, standup shower. TV was small and do not plan to store a... Agree with most reviewers. The Free MiniBar was a bonus. Two bottles of great beer per day, two fruit juices and two mineral waters. Bottle opener in the toilet. Nice lockable cupboard. Smallish rooms but functional- not cheap though. The room was quiet facing the delightful garden. Aircon one of the quietest ever- a rare commodity. Curtains almost completely blackout.... More

In my opinion the München Palace Hotel represents the very finest that a smaller boutique style of hotel can aspire to offer. The staff are superb; the concierge personnel were exceptional. For all of them nothing was too much trouble, coupled with the fact they were most knowledgeable about their city. The bar and wait staff and room-cleaning staff were... More

A lovely small hotel in a very attractive part of the city, with a beautiful little courtyard and charming bar area.Delicious dinner at the bar and equally good breakfasts. Free, good-quality bikes, but limited number so get them early. Only small complaint was very limited closet space in our mid-range room But loved everything else about the room. First-rate staff.... Completed reservations for a two-night stay, for a double garden-view room, non-refundable rate. Due to medical emergency back in USA (wife lost movement in her legs), had to cancel, but they still would not refund, despite my sending them my flight confirmation for the day of my arrival at their hotel.OK--not very sympathetic management here, but it is perhaps a... We loved this hotel! It was attractive, comfortable, good service and a really nice restaurant. Very pleasant garden out back, very convenient and free bikes for guests' use. Location was not ideal as it was not in the center, but it turned out to be a quick bus-or bike-ride to the major attractions. And it was quiet! Although we ate... More

Beautiful hotel with knowledgable, courteous, and genuinely friendly staff. Easy walk to all the great central areas, but also far enough to be out of the congestion and noise. Won't stay anywhere else on future trips to Munich.
