Second stay here while visiting a biannual trade fair in Munich. Perfectly fine (unexpectedly triple room for one!) room. Clean and comfortable and "typically German". It should not be compared to multi-national chains. Staff and breakfast excellent. Free Wi-Fi in room OK, we al expect super-fast nowadays. I would be happy to stay there again on business or for a... More

I don`t think i have very much to say , i am speachless... My photos with the triple room in Regent hotel, a 4 stars hotel , will speak for themselves ..... The triple room looks like a maximum 2 stars hotel room , and on the website i haven`t seen photos with this ugly room , i can`t believe... More

Some friends booked this hotel for us as we were a large group travelling. When I read the reviews I was expecting it to be terrible but it wasn't too bad. The rooms are spacious and very clean but the whole hotel needs updating. Carpets are worn and stained, furniture is tired and the whole hotel is out of date.... More

In all my years of traveling this is by far my worst hotel room in Western Europe and probably equal to the worst in the former communist bloc just after they opened up in the mid 90s. It was also one of the most expensive rooms ever at €340 per night. Mattress was hard, carpet was dirty and stained, bathroom... More

Firstly, the staff are very good here very welcoming and efficient, have lots of advice about area etc. Breakfast also good. Sadly the rooms are under-invested and bathrooms really need updating. Everything works ok but tile grout discoloured and clingy shower curtain makes it more halls of residence than hotel. Stayed in two separate rooms and both the same. No... More

Stayed at this hotel during the oktoberfest. It's a simple and good hotel with great value. It's near the train station and this makes it very convenient to the rest of Munich. Also, even during the crazy oktoberfest, it gives a peaceful and good night rest.

After reading previous reviews, I arrived with very little expectation and was pleasantly surprised. It should not be considered a 4-star hotel, but rather a very good 2-star or an average 3-star hotel. Location is good, 10 minutes walk to Marienplatz and 3 minutes walk to central station. The rooms, though basic and not special in any way, were very... More

Decent accommodations for budget minded traveler. Hotel was clean, very well traveled and bit weary. Bathrooms bit of mildew, curtains faded, and lots of student travelers are the marks of travelers on tight budget. The hotel staff were friendly and spoke English most of the time. They have parking attached for price and the wifi works well most of the... More

Unfortunately, we did not have a very good experience. This is the lowest rating I have given a hotel in receipt years. Rooms were clean and nice but receptionist was very unfriendly (almost rude). She would not even tell us when the bus would pick us up at the airport. Would not stay there again.

two marks given for location (near Bahnof) and price (€99 for B&B). outside of that a few issues: - hasnt been renovated since the early 80s. - claimed on priceline to be 4 star (they gave themselves that rating) - beds are hard and rooms are sparse. good value budget option but not a 4 star hotel.
