We stayed at Hotel Monaco for 6 days in the beginning of our trip and then on the final night of our trip. The hotel is located about 5-10 minutes walk to the Marienplatz. This hotel was very nice. Not a 5 star but it was a great value. Very clean! Great Breakfast. Wonderful Staff! The area it is in is a dump but you are close to everything. One block from the train station entrance. 10 minute walk from the City Center. There were a lot of business people staying there as well. more

First time to Munich and stayed here on Rick Steves recommendation. The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate. Everything was perfect.
