Contrary to an previous review - the hotel is in a tourist area. The hotel is on the Leopoldstrasse in Schwabing and there are lots of restaurants, bars etc and Schwabing is an interesting district and not far to the centre of Munich. I stayed 2 nights 30 and 31 Oct 2003. I chose the hotel for its location convenient for a business meeting in what is otherwise a residential suburb of Munich. It is NOT a tourist area. Nearest U bahn station is Bonner Platz, though the Lufthansa bus from the airport (EUR 9) to Nordfriedhof (about 500 metres away from hotel)... more
