I arrived on a rainy, dark Friday night. The staff were completely helpful re helping me find somewhere to eat etc. The German breakfast was to die for ...I've stayed in many three and four star hotels in Germany and this breakfast stood up well to the the best. I have stayed in numerous Ibis hotels throughout Europe and have always found the rooms to be of a good size. Disappointingly this was not the case in the Munich City hotel. The rooms were clean however and the rest of the hotel was of a good standard. We received a great deal so cant complain too much ! more

I have stayed here twice in the last 2 years. The location is ideal for walking distance to the Main train station and the Lufthansa Airport Bus (best way to go). The hotel is very central, in a walking distance to the train and metro station and it is also possible to reach Marienplatz by walk. The rooms are small, but not much different from other Ibis.
