The hotel is located just a few minutes from the train station! The staff was very rude and arrogant! The breakfast/buffet was very good.. The room is a disaster but the mattress was perfectly good. I don't recommend at all!!

We stayed here recently on a trip to Germany and enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms are quite simple but are clean and suprisingly quiet for a city centre. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk to the main square and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station, which makes it easy to reach from the... More

Location is good. Walking distance to center. Room is average. Small, bad shower, but good bed. Staff friendliness is bad. Felt like I was annoying the receptionist. Breakfast is average. Tight buffet.

we stayed at Carat for 5 Nights. We booked a double room we found 2 separate beds, and the room is really small compared to the price you pay per night. Another thing is that the staff are not helpful at all, the lift was not working and i couldnt use the stairs due to personnel health, when we asked... More

Looking for a triple at a reasonable (read: cheap) price is always a challenge in Europe. This hotel had a location that was far better than I had anticipated from the reviews. A very easy 10 minute walk to the Munich Alstadt with the main attractions (or a simple one stop train ride) and nestled in a thriving neighborhood of... More

This hotel is located in the perfect spot for easy access to central Munich. It's literally right next to the 'Sendlinger Tor' station if you need to travel further out of the city and is only a 10 minute walk right to the city centre. The room itself was average. I'd say that the hotel generally needs a bit of... More

Whilst the hotel has dated decor- the rooms are very clean. The beds were heavenly- we were able to fall asleep within seconds. We also had a good view from our room on the top floor. The down side was that the lift only went up to the second highest floor and then we had to carry our luggage up... More

Stayed here early December. The plus points are the location which is excellent for exploring Munich, the staff were very helpful & the breakfast is great - lots of choice in a nice area of the hotel. The downside however was the very old fashioned rooms which were in dire need of up dating. The layout was also very strange... More

I have two good things to say about this hotel. 1) the breakfast is very good (many pastries, salmon, meats, yogurts, cereals, fruits, cheeses, etc). And 2) the location is decent (just south of Munich's central train station). However, neither of these perks could save our abysmal experience. Every single interaction I had with the front desk staff was appalling.... More

The company booked us in this hotel for 4 nights during the Electronica exhibition. If they charge 170Euro during a busy trade fair - then we also get to point out a few other things about this hotel : - the rooms are quite small - the receptionist are not very helpful. The elevator was down the whole time during... More
