This is a no fuss or frills hotel in a great location. An easy ten minute stroll to the city center and a 25 minute walk from the main train station. You can get the subway easily from right outside the hotel too and its a quick 45 minute trip to the airport with only one change at Marienplatz. The... More

We stayed in an apartment(No 6). The room was very spacious and we had a double bed and a single bed. There was a safe in the room, which was fantastic for keeping valuables in and large enough for a laptop. A flatscreen TV, but you can only get German channels. Room was very clean and we had a separate... More

The room was an okay size for a triple, but it was clean. The lobby was nice, as were the staff. Breakfast in the morning was good. The room was really hot, but the desk provided a fan for us to use (which helped a little). It was a short walk to the trams/subway, and seemed like a nice neighborhood... More

The rooms were extremely small, but comfortable enough. We had one at the back of the hotel and it was nice and quiet. Bathroom was a bit on the small side as well. Everything was clean. Breakfast was very good. Nice courtyard for a drink.

This hotel is nicely located for the centre of Munich and various city sights, and is very handy for Sendlinger Tor station. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was enjoyable, with good variety. There were a couple of aspects that detracted from our stay, however. The room we got was on the road, overlooking a busy dual carriageway. While... More

In a hip youngster area with many small cafes and restaurants and quite near to the center of Munich - only a short walk of 10 minutes from pedestrian area. Rather small but clean room. Comfortable beds. Modern and clean bathroom, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to control temperature of the water in the shower - went from steamy hot to... More

We stayed 7 nights and had to change rooms twice. The first room - shower was broken. Went to reception and was told they will send maintenance tomorrow and I coulnt change room because they were fully booked. I asked her to double check and she found a room we could change to with a working shower. She seemed to... More

Our room was smaller than our cabin on a recent cruise. Both my wife and I are petite and yet with two large suitcases we had to actually negotiate our movements around the room. The room was clean and quiet while the bathroom can only accommodate one person at a time. The breakfast room on the lobby floor is light... More

We would stay any time again. The Team is very friendly and helpful. The Rooms are spacious and the Breakfast Buffet left no desires open. The location is fantastic. Easy to be reached by car - they have a garage - and a few steps away from the shopping and Brew house area. Important sightseeing spots within walking distance.

We recently stayed at the Carat hotel for 3 nights and found it to be just an average hotel. The room we were assigned was supposed to be in the back "quiet" section and it was by no means quiet! We were actually on the side street which turned out to be very noisy with cars, people and trash trucks... More
