The hotel is located near the Munich airport (and the Allianz Arena), north of the city and quite far from the center but there is a metro station beside the hotel entrance that will bring you in 20’ in the city center. The hotel is nicely decorated (wood) and rooms are comfortable. The staff welcomes guests very friendly. Breakfast is... More

This hotel is nearly perferct, except the free WiFi didn't work very well, and there were kids making noise until 2:00 AM in the courtyard outside. The breakfast was great. This hotel is right at the exit of the Garching subway stop. Its clear a huge efffort has gone into making this hotel near perfect. Its too bad they didn't... More

Wonderful stay at the hotel in a prosperous area of Munich, the Schaubing area, prosperous, clean and convenient. One hour walk to the center of Munich where all the activities take place. Many sites to visit, book at the tour office downtown, close to the Rathaus (city hall). Castle visits, churches, synagogues, local market, beer hall, etc. A great honeymoon... More

We stayed here august 2011, for 3 nights. Starting with the positiive before putting the boot in: the location was great, right near to any number of restauants and bars with prices for all pockets, plus the amazing park is 5 mins away. it is round the corner from the underground metro and town centre only 3 stops away. The... More

Comfy beds Great breakfast Good location But... Be aware: they will charge you for just zapping throught the pay-tv channels, and blame the company responsible for the channels if you complain!!!!! Receptionist was not all at service minded. When asking questions he didnt seem to care at all. 12 euro for the garage - NOT for big cars!!! WIfi didnt... More

My husband & I stayed here while he had business meetings, then moved to a hotel more central to the old-town area. I was pleasantly surprised by the Schwabing area, which is bustling, popular and has lots of cafes. Close to the Ubahn, easy to get anywhere else you want to go. Reviewer prior to me was not happy about... More

Located in Munich's pleasant Schwabing neighborhood, this hotel is in a trendy area, near Ludwig-Maximiilians University, and has plenty of dining options literally just around the corner. The old town is just a 5 minute subway ride away, and the tranquil English Garden is about a 15 minute walk away. The free breakfast is astounding in both quality and variety.... More

Comfortable, Very Clean, and location, location, location! Love my stay here. The first time with my husband; the second time had my daughter with us. Got a loft-type room and it was summer! Germany doesn't believe in A/C! It was hot; but comfortable enough to come back for the third time. Lots of good walk for food, entertainment, and shopping!!... More

Room was clean and bigger than "average" but it was very warm with no AC. I hate to think what it would be like in summer. The (free) wireless internet access is slow. So slow that web pages gave up loading in the end and the browser reported an error. It worked in the end, though. Slowly. Two single beds... More

Stayed here together with a group attending a seminar at a nearby major reinsurer (five minutes walking distance). My single room was reasonably big with a comfortable bed, seating arrangements as well as a desk. Internet connection is free via Wi-Fi but speed is quite pathetic. The bathroom had a shower and soap/shower gel in dispenser bottles (great for those... More
