We stayed for one night in this hotel. The staff was very flexible and helpful and we could book it even without a credit card, by just sending an email to them. Although they informed us that we have to check in at 15:00, in practice we arrived there at 12:00 and they gave us the room immediately (it was... more

A great value for Munich and the high Euro. Rooms are nicely furnished, hotel staff is helpful, breakfast is fantastic and the inner courtyard is a delight. Nothing extravagant (except the breakfast) but all nicely done and well tended to. Good location - close to VirtualMarket and Marienplatz. Free WIFI as well. No A/C. more

We have just stayed for a long weekend at the Admiral Hotel. It is most certainly not a cheap option but I would still rate it as good value for money. The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly, the rooms a reasonably sized, comfortable and very clean. The cold breakfast buffet is exceptional. The buffet is kept fully stocked... more

We stayed at the Hotel Admiral in Munich. The hotel is lovely and the staff is very professional. It is a great location, practically next door to the Deutsches Museum and close to the Isator S-Bahn station (we took the S8 from the Airport to Isator and walked the few blocks to the hotel - very easy) and other public... more

The hotel has a good location on a side street in an upscale neighborhood. It is within walking distance of many of the Munich sites so you don't need a car. While most of the staff was engaging and helpful, the front desk clerk when we checked in around Noon was unfriendly and rather gruff. I had requested a room... more

This hotel is situated in a nice location near "Deutsches Museum", "Viktualienmarkt" and in a walking distance from the centre. The brekfast is good but not abounding. The rooms are quite dated. In addition to that my room had somewhat of a dusty smell to it and the curtain's didn't work in order to keep the street lights out by... more

Our family stayed in 2 rooms at this hotel for 2 nights. Our kids ended up on a different floor than us. Both of our rooms faced the front of the hotel, which is on the street. There is no a/c so we had to have our windows opened at night. The two problems with that were the noise from... more

We found the Admiral to be a nice, clean hotel with luxurious linens and a most elegant breakfast. In your room you are greeted with a small plate of fresh fruit and a small vase of fresh flowers. Rooms in the back overlooking the hotel garden take you away from the sounds of the city, however it can get noisy... more

We first stayed at the Admiral in Sept 2003 when picking up a new car from the BMW factory. The plan, after pick-up, was to tour the Bavarian Alps and the Rhineland then return to Munich to ship the car back to the USA, staying in the Munich Hilton at the end of our trip. After our one night at... more

On a recent 5 day trip to Bavaria, a friend and I spent 4 nights at the Admiral. The room was very spacious and very clean. The service was exceptional. The breakfast was WONDERFUL. I could find no fault in this place. Practically next door to the Deutches Museum; a short walk to the subway. more
