Although the room does not have coffee-tea making facilities, staffs are happy to provide us hot water. Our next destination is Vienna and we just booked a hotel through internet. While we are worrying where we can print the hotel voucher, management of this hotel is helpful and print for us without charge. This hotel is highly recommended. more

My husband and in-laws stayed at the Brunnenhof whilst visiting my brother-in-law who lives in Munich. The hotel was recommended to us by his German friends. The hotel is in a fab location, the station is only a 5 minute walk. The Receptionist was very helpful upon our arrival and arranged taxi's etc for us. The room had a complimentary... more

One of the 5 worst hotel rooms I've ever suffered through. Mismatched dormitory style furniture, plastic mattresses, insufficient linens, no air conditioning, insufficient ventilation, noisy inside and out, a bizarre bathroom decoration scheme (see through Michael Jackson shower curtain), TV with poor reception and to top it off, it was a "family" suite that reeked of cigarette smoke. Run away. more

In the 5 minute walk from the hauptbanhof to the hotel you pass about 6-7 strip clubs; along with many cafes, stores, bars and other hotels. It wasn't a problem but some people just wouldn't want to stay here because of it. The hotel was clean, small bar area, excellent breakfast (included in room price) in the morning. more

We are two families traveling together with teens, the rooms are large by European standards and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and served in a large room. The area is safe and quiet. Another block or two away it is more small stores and ethnic businesses, but not unsafe. You can take a short walk the other direction to... more

As we knew coming into the Brunnenhof, it wasn't the ritziest or the most expensive hotel in Munich... that being said, I was still underwhelmed. The rooms were of an okay size and were fairly clean, and the breakfasts were actually very good with smoked salmon, breads, cheeses and a variety of meats. However, the area is a little seedy.... more

My family and I went to Munich in July 2009. We had read previous reviews on trip adviser and decided to stay at the Hotel Brunnenhof. Firstly the reception staff were fantastic organising accommodation, transfers to and from the airport without a hassle and made the booking of tours no problem - organising it all for us. Best of all... more

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights while touring the area. The hotel was hard to find if you are driving a car unless you have a good map. It is in a seedier area about 4 blocks from the main shopping square but we did not feel unsafe. It is definately in the strip joint area of town... more

Thi hotel is very well located. It's very near from the main station of Munich. But, what impresed me was the staff. Our plane leaved Munich at 6 am and they offered us breakfast at 3 am! Too nice! The only thing that was missing was the heat, that was not working, but that's ok. more
