we stayed here for one night whilst visiting Munich, found the hotel to be only a short walk from train station, there is also a tram stop that stops just one street away. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. we had a classis room and was very big and spacious! i would happily stay at the hotel again

I like the Sheraton hotels but this one needs some urgent renovation - you can tell everything, everywhere you go has been there for ages - the carpet, linens, chairs, everything. I was lucky to get a upgrade because there weren't any standards available when I checked in, so they put me in a executive room - full of space... More

I was very nervous about staying here after reading many of the mediocre to downright negative reviews but I needn't have worried! On arriving in Munich we had a walk from haubtbahnhof (main train station) of a little over 10mins. This was a tiny bit of a struggle with two backpacks but we could have gotten the s-bahn from haubtbahnhof... More

This hotel is ideally placed in proximity of the city centre, and within yards of Oktoberfest if that's the aim of your visit. Generally quiet, my only gripe was children noisily playing outside way past bedtime on one of the evenings. I was situated on the second floor at the front of the hotel, in a double bedroom with en-suite,... More

Rooms: I stayed on the SPG floor on the top level in a larger room. My rate did include free internet & minibar. - 2 King Size beds - fent, as no air is available. Druing the summer, I expect the rooms to head up terribly. - balcony - hair dryer - desk - extra seating with table. The interior... More

We stayed here based on the fact that this is a Starwood Hotel (normally great quality) and the proximity to Oktoberfest. While you can't beat the location, it was definitely way overpriced for the quality of the hotel. This hotel has been beat up and is in severe need to renovation. The carpeting in the hotel is extremely worn and... More

Stayed for three nights on a business trip. Hotel is on the edge of the city just a couple of underground stops from the centre. A good point is that it is right on the doorstep to the Oktober Fest venue which was setting up for the big start next week. The hotel are not unaware of the business this... More

We stayed at the hotel several times. Each time it was the upbeat and helpful staff that made us return. They were not only friendly, but assisted in solving problems and were not afraid to take responsibility when things went wrong -- a rarity in Germany. The room features rooms that are unusually large, especially for city hotels in Europe.... More

This is a nice modern hotel in a very quiet residential area of Munich. If you are visiting for Oktoberfest this hotel would be perfect - it is only a few blocks from the festival grounds at Theresienwiese. If you are here to visit Munich I would suggest trying to find something closer to the Old Town part of Munich,... More

Modern property located in a quiet residential area, just about 10 minutes’ walk from the central railway station. For those visiting during the Oktoberfest, the hotel is virtually around the corner from the festival grounds at Theresienwiese. Otherwise, it is a straightforward 20 minute walk to Karlsplatz, your most obvious point of access to the historic part of town. We... More
