We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel had a very distinct Bavarian feel to it. It reminded me of my oma's house. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was basic but neat and clean and comfortable. The only thing we really did in the room was sleep, but who wants to stay in... More

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel has very basic accommodations...very tiny single room, a mattress and "pillow" that was sub par, and no frills....as a plus....i did have my own very tiny bathroom and a large window in my room for fresh air. Traveling in Europe is typically this way so no complaints for... More

We booked 3 rooms in advance, as business trip, and then we booked 1 room last minute for the same period, unbelievably we paid more for the 3 rooms than for the last one, the booking was made from our company and we got several rates for same period and same type of room. The pricing policy is not clear... More

A nice little hotel just 6 tram stops from Munich city center. I got a single which was strudel bed, a stool and a bath with shower. Very "traditional" but spotless. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a clean economical place to sleep, I recommend the... More

We stayed at this hotel from 29 August to 1 September 2014. Chose non-smoking room number 43 instead of a room in the first floor when given the option. I am listing here the pros and cons of the hotel based on our critical observation: Pros: 1. Not the center of Munich, but just 2 stops from Munich main station(just... More

This small family run hotel is very traditional and is situated out of the city, but in a handy location. Our stay was enjoyable, however we felt that with a couple of small improvements it could have been much better. We stayed on three hot days and our room was quite stuffy due to the heat so a ceiling fan... More

All the staff, without exception, were extremely friendly and helpful. Diverse public transport tickets can be bought in the hotel, and we were informed about the tickets. Breakfast great. Our room was relatively small, but clean. Not really a room to spend any extended period of time, though. The Landsbergerstrasse is quite busy, and the traffic noise goes on till... More

This family-owned hotel is a quaint bit of Bavaria plonked onto a Munich city street. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They sell travel tickets behind the counter which is VERY useful and went through the various ones for us including giving us tram/train maps which made our... More

There are some things you might not like about this hotel: The elevator stops between floors so you still have to walk down some stairs; it's about a 25 minute walk from the train station; and the breakfast-frau will insist on discussing your breakfast options in German. But these are minor irritants that should not take away from a excellent... More

This hotel is good value for Munich and I'm glad we came across it online before leaving for a couple of weeks touring Bavaria. The room was quiet and clean. Our bed was creeky, I have to say which was a problem while trying to get over jet lag. The elevator is tiny and used mostly for luggage. Parking is... More
