Right in the middle of the Hauptbahnhof ghetto - no Germans (or other Europeans except tourists) in the streets around. Water in the bathtub wouldn't go down - problem reported but not solved. Disturbing noise coming from outside at night (a shop's massive refrigerator maybe?) Sheets not changed for 6 nights. Internet connection in the room promised but not working.... more

We enjoy the Christmas Markets with friends. There's nothing like biting cold, being hopped up in a good coat, gloves and hat, while supping the Gluhwien! This hotel was the best we stayed in during our 2 weeks trip to Europe. We took a night train to Munich from Paris and arrived well before check-in, but our room was available as soon as we got there. The room was a nice size and was clean. Hotel and room itself was clean and well equiped. However, the hotel is located in a bit of a run down area with a couple of mom and pop supermarkets, making the walk to the shopping area or train station not very enjoyable. Would suggest to stay if on tight budget. more
