Definitely a 5 ***** hotel! I stayed over the July 11th weekend for two nights and my stay was amazing. Upon entering the hotel, I was impressed with the hotel lobby. Check-in was a breeze and Reception staff was very pleasant, professional and helpful for all of my questions during my stay. Rooms: When booking, I had requested and received... more

It has nice, comfortable and clean rooms. The staff was polite and always ready to answer to any question we had. The breakfast buffet was not so rich. They did not replace the empty plates on time (on the buffet). The people who worked in the hotel's garage were very kind and very helpful. Very nice location of the hotel.... more

I was in utter shock to see that this hotel was ranked very low and not in the top 10 hotels in Munich. To start let me say I am a frequent traveler to Munich and have stayed at various hotels but nothing is as close to the service and rooms that Bayerishcer Hof Hotel in Munich! and I will... more

We stayed at the Bayerischer Hof in Feb 08. We were sadly disappointed by the rooms. The heating in one room couldn't be turned down, so we were told the open the windows (!) but unfortunately there were smells coming through. So we had to switch to a different room. The bathroom in our new room was literally next to... more

Have stayed there only one night in a "Laura Ashley" double room on the second floor facing the front (given an upgrade apparently even though on a corporate rate during a big trade fair). Room (including bathroom) was a not exactly brandnew but very nice nevertheless. Arriving late and leaving early without breakfast, I haven't had many opportunities to experience... more

I was driving back to Munich from an aborted voyage to the North, escaping the pouring rain in the country that made it look totally deserted and grim. A few days earlier, I stayed in Vier Jahreszeiten, and although I liked it, I wanted something else. I was looking around from my car, knowing that when I see the right... more

My wife and I stayed three nights prior to joining a tour. Upon a late evening arrival, we were checked in quickly, then escorted by a young lady to our room (#579) where we were shown all the features of our temporary home and given a small book titled 'Munich Culture & Shopping Highlights'. The book was an excellent reference... more

As we were flying back from Munich and my girlfriend wanted to have some sightseeing this hotel was the perfect choice. Located in the middle of the city center our room was very quiet as well as renovated, spacious and well equipped. We had one of the R&B style rooms which are nicely decorated. We had two dinner inside the... more

My wife and me spent our wedding night in a safari themed suite at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich. Eventhough we told them we just got married today when booking the room and when checking in, there was no acknowlodgement by the Hotel (i.e. congratulation card from the manager, bottle of champagne in the room or something else, etc. ).... more
