Wonderful building, wonderful service, wonderful corner rooms in the tower, great value for money, good for business but also for tourism (underground stop is very close). Charming atmosphere in the louge-bar. Excellent breakfast. Try that!

This motel chain is extremely cheap! Even compared to other cheap hotels, this one really doesn't even try - aside from the pretty looks, I suppose. So be aware! Their rooms have less then the bare minimum, making any stay, especially on an international business trip, a huge inconvenience. Here is a list of the biggest shortcomings: - No phone... More

The hotel is modern and clean, rooms are minimalist and very small. The hotel is not located in the downtown (I wouldn't call it "City") but there are several restaurant and public transportation alternatives in the surroundings. Breakfast is correct and the staff is also helpful. A good business hotel to stay a couple of nights.

As much as I liked my first stay at this hotel, I noticed its flaws over time, especially on stays for more than 2 nights. As a female solo traveler on business trips, I mostly look for a hotel in a safe area with convenient access by public transportation. I would say that this property gives you both. BUT: As... More

Like others I too was here during the construction works, the addition of a deal more rooms, and reception has moved, amazing considering it was only opened a couple of years ago. My room was very new, and towels still had the new fluff on them! We tried the restaurant onet night, good quality but limited menu, so we explored... More

Stayed here for one night, which served its purpose, but I'm glad my stay was only limited to that. The hotel is modern and close to central Munich; however, it is currently undergoing major renovation. All the construction work has turned this hotel into an utter mess. Tried to take a nap in the afternoon but was constantly startled by... More

We stayed at Motel One München-City-Süd whilst visiting the city for Oktoberfest 2014. The hotel is a five minute walk from the Wettersteinplatz U-Bahn station, where is it a short ride on the U1 into the centre of Munich. Alternatively we found the Number 58 bus from nearby Silberhornstr even better as it had a stop directly opposite Oktoberfest and... More

You can tick every box that this hotel/ motel is ok. Good check-in, small but nice and clean rooms. Ok breakfast, every thing for a one or two night business trip. The only inconvenient thing is the poor wifi connection or the no-wifi connection.

The hotel is pretty good: clean and modern. People is very kind and helpful and knows English. Breakfast is average: good but not a great choice and the room is small for the size of the hotel. Parking is ok in the street (free): the garage is 9€/day. The only downsize is that my room was very (very) small for... More
