I stayed here one night because we had a company event at Oberanger and the other hotels were booked. I had mixed feelings because of the mixed reviews of the venue, but I have to say I am satisfied. Maybe I was lucky because I got a double (actually double +1 bed room) in the fifth floor. Room 517 is... More

This hotel does not have fancy rooms, but the bed was large enough for 2, very comfortable, bathroom quite small but all we needed. We spent most of our day out touring, so location was most important. We were able to get our room an hour early. There is dining 1 block away. Wifi would occasionally go out for a... More

Nice, and hospitable staff. Clean and value for money. Amazing thing about the hotel is its location, MerianPlatz, Neue Rathaus, Frauenkirche, Viktualienmarkt, Münchner Stadtmuseum, U-Bahn station, Beer garden, what ever you think of, is there. For me, if I rate its location it will be 10/10. For Munich attractions, its my recommendation. The only Wired thing in this hotel, any... More

This hotel is pretty much bare bones and basic. It's not bad. It's just nothing special at all. There is absolutely nothing extra. That includes the blanket on the bed which is meant for a twin size bed and it's on a double. The location is great as its in the old city center of Munich.

A small but ideally located hotel which sets ones visit up nicely due to its proximity to the city centre and only a minute from the nearest rail station. The office staff were very helpful and friendly. I found the bed comfortable, facilities basic with no coffee making but a bottle of water was replaced each day it was emptied.... More

Small, simple, clean and easy to find. Partly renovated. Excellent location, at the U-Bahn and only a short distance from the main square. Breakfast not available, yet lots of places around for breakfast. Staff really nice. Had a noisy room on the street, which they changed to a quiet room overlooking the courtyard. Good value for money.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, a 10 minute walk to Marienplatz and 1 block from a ubahn station. The decor in the rooms is modern and the bed was clean. Unfortunately that's about all of the positives I have for this hotel. The room wasn't dirty, but definitely not what I would call clean. There was noticeable dust... More

You are at a couple-of-minutes walking distance from all the important places in Munich - Stachus, Hofbrauhaus, town hall, market place, Frauenkirche, Viktualienmarkt - you name it it's there! At not quite 100 yards you find a decent baker (Kamps Backstube) with a very good selection of Danish pastry and hot drinks in the morning. And for 6 Euro a... More

Hotel was in good location once you find it, but don't rely on phoning the hotel for directions as they aren't very good. Checked in about 11.30pm was given my key and went to my room. Room was dirty. Dust on top of wardrobe was horrible. Rubbish in the bin and wardrobe. I discovered room had not been cleaned since... More

10 minute walk from the Marienplatz and central Munich or a 1 minute walk to the underground station which connects to Marienplatz in around 1 minute (1 stop away) and is on the U6 line which was very good for us as it had the Marienplatz for the centre, Universitat for the English Gardens and Frottmaning for the Allianz Arena....
