First, one should remember that 'you get what you pay for'. We were desperate to find a room during Oktoberfest, and because the room rates in Munich were at least double the normal, we were forced to book this hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, all the staff were very friendly (especially the lady who served breakfast). 2 minute walk to the metro. Rooms are clean and comfortable. More

This hotel is clean and comfortable, and is in an excellent location for visiting the city. It's about 50m from the Goetheplatz U-bahn and has a free garage. The garagen hotel is a nice place to stay. The people were friendly and helpful enough, the breakfast was adequate and the rooms were not bad. If you are a traveller looking for a reliable hotel near the oktoberfest ground then this is the perfect place. The garagen is about 3 blocks from the festivities, but not so close that... More
