We stayed over Christmas of 2008. The hotel is clean and the location good on the edge of the shopping area. It was easy to book (via Tripadvisor) and the reply to my email was quick. My mistake to book one room for a family of four. I couldn't believe there are single rooms for four person.... But so far... more

I stayed 3 nights in November. Single room is sufficient enough. Clean, good size bathroom. Good heating. Location is just great. Two blocks from Hauptbahnhof (also S-bahn to airport) and 15 min stroll to city center. Excellent breakfast. Would stay again. more

The Art Hotel's location is very good, just a 5-10 min walk to the Munich central station. Breakfast was also pretty good. I was expecting more out of the rooms though (pictures on their website was a lot better). The room I got had some paint scratched off from the walls. Bed covers, furniture were pretty basic but quite clean.... more

There were four of us who shared a quad room room at the Arthotel in October. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Munich. Conveninent location, clean rooms and the staff was helpful with recommending restaurants, tours, etc. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. more

The Arthotel is located close to the Oktoberfest, so if that’s your destination your walk to the grounds will be short and direct. We paid a quick visit to that annual bash while we were in town, but this was just a last-minute overnighter en-route across Europe. I had read the reviews about theis hote before commencing my journey, I would like to say that the one bad review it had was rubbish, i dont know how anybody could fault it. The location is excellent, lovely staff who are very helpful, comfortable and clean rooms, fantastic breakfast, great value for money. I would definately stay there again. more
