We found the staff VERY friendly and helpful. I asked about Mrs Strauss, whom so many on here have complained about as brusque, and was told she is in her final days at hospital. The location is great, cant think anywhere that has as good a view of Nueschwanstein castle as the balconies here. Nice breakfast. Bedding needs replacement, and... More

An older property set in the country village within walking distance of both castles in the area. Lovely views from the property. You get a view of Neuschwanstein from some of the rooms. The place was well decorated, but in need of some refurbishment, such as new windows. Rooms were basically furnished and clean. Our bed was comfortable. Free on-site... More

We unfortunately arrived very late after a long drive, but the owner was still very cordial and said not to worry. This is the nicest property we have visited. The house had a lot of character and was immaculate. The "Team" that works here is dedicated and there to be sure that you have a memorable experience. I say "Team"... More

OK, let´s face it. It wasn´t the best B and B we ever stayed at, yet , the view was amazing, the location, second to none, the staff, friendly, the room clean. There were no bugs ( they come from time to time, like they do in the caribbean, and like tourists do in high season.) Wifi worked allright. Breakfast was... More

To summarize: very discourteous, unflexible, and utterly unhelpful staff. Like the inspiration for the show Faulty Towers, the owners don't seem very interested in hospotality and are rather inconvenienced by having bothersome guests in their space. First we showed up at night after some delays, and Hoenschwangau is completely shut down with no place to eat. They made sure to... More

The good Great view of Neuschawnstien, if you pay the extra for the view. Pretty good breakfast. Very close Neuschawnstien. Pretty easy to find. The bad Bugs in our room. Hundreds of little gnat like bugs. No elevator No staff to help with bags Staff is sort of friendly. Most of the rooms share a toilet at the end of... More

It was 7 pm & dark when we arrived here, we had made no contact at all as we had no phone, but when we buzzed at the door it was opened up by a friendly lady who said come in, she had little English but showed us a card with prices for the rooms, she then showed us room... More

Our train to Germany was help up by German immigration police due illegal immigrants. When we tried to arrange with them that we would be late (11pm) they basically told us that they would closed. We contacted them at 10pm (numerous calls) their phone simply went unanswered. We were now half an hour away. The Local Police in a nearby... More

We arrived this B&B around 4pm, and found the hotel entrance door was locked and nobody was inside. We waited for the owner to return for almost 2 hours, and finally she came back without explaining too much (because she doesn't speak English and we think she said she went out to buy breakfast for the next morning and there... The place is clean, small as any B&B type place in the German country, good breakfast and very convenient to visit castles, dine and walk or ride bike around area. Pros: free parking, breakfast, clean, walking distance to all attractions. Cons: host during check in doesn't speak English.
