Nice rooms, great location right in the center of the town. The breakfast was very nice. We had dinner here once and it was also very good. Staff was very helpful. Little tricky to find parking and get to the hotel.

The hotel is very convenient as far as location to both castles, Ticket booth being right next door. We arrived early evening and were able to park in the hotel lot. Staff was friendly and helpful, check in was a breeze. We had time before dinner to stroll around and admire the beautiful scenery and shops. Dinner in the restaurant... More

We were here for lunch before heading up to the castle. Great food, nice staff and super conveniently located at the foot of the hill. The owners are lovely, and if you're in a rush (though the ordered food came quickly) there was a wurst and quick food bistro at the side terrace too.

Stayed two nights here, the staff were very attentive and helpful, and always friendly. The rooms were slightly small (as most rooms in Germany are), but perfectly adequate to travel-weary individuals looking for a great place to crash. Each room has a balcony which is great for sitting on and enjoying the view of the mountains, or possibly a glimpse... More

If you want to see both castles without a hassle (Neuschwanstein & Hohenschwangau) in a very nice and affordable hotel with a great restaurant then this is your hotel. We recently stayed 2 nights in a romantic double room with balcony, including both castle tickets, and were not disappointed. From the easy check in with friendly receptionist/waitress Agnes to the... More

Talk about convenience -- this hotel is literally just around the corner from the bus station (bus #78 brings you from the Fussen train station). We were checked into the hotel by a super friendly young lady in traditional German dress (her name is Agnes). She even took care of getting tickets for the castles for the next day for... More

Had a great stay in this Bavarian-style hotel. The staff was so very helpful and really bent over backwards for us. I would recommend this hotel to any Americans visiting this town for it's incredible castles and Bavarian charm. The restaurant served excellent German dishes and the complimentary breakfast was great. A real value for the money! The room was... More

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and our room had a perfect view of Neuschwanstein castle. With the exception of the Jaegerschnitzel, all the food was very good and breakfast was more than adequate.

Loved this wee place so much! When we arrived the owner gave us a choice of rooms, bigger room or a room with view of the castle (Hohenschwangau), we chose the view, great choice! Even though it was chucking it down, the awesome Alpine freshness was amazing, sitting out on the covered wooden balcony, looking up at the fairytale-like castle.... More

We enjoyed our one night at the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful; the service was excellent. We ate dinner in the hotel and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. It was all good. The breakfast and coffee in the morning were good too. We went first thing in the morning to the Castle... More
