The hotel is at a nice location, near the city center. The rooms are very small and in some rooms, there is a single bed. Though the Wi-Fi is free, but it didn't work at all during the stay. The rooms don't even have a Tea/Coffee Kettle. The Gym doesn't even have a tred-mill to run. The reception doesn't have... More

Stayed here for business for 4 nights. The service (very good) and the breakfast was among the highlights of the hotel. The rooms are old and a lot of corridors to walk through to even get to the room. Wifi was working fine as well without any issues.

the highlight is the breakfast and the atmosphere down in the cellar. The personnel is very polite from front desk to cleaning staff. Rooms are very clean and warmly decorated. Modern bathrooms. Great location.

This hotel needs a serious makeover in order to arrive in the 21st century. Old, partially dirty and stained red and brown carpets are everywhere: floors, walls, elevator walls, just everywhere. They make the whole place feel really dirty and old fashioned. The room I stayed in was awful: the same dirty carpet, horrendous curtains (think Louis XIV meets D&G),... More

We recently returned from an 8 day trip to Erlangen and had a great experience staying at this hotel. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed our accommodations. The hotel is modern but not in a "cold" way. Our room was very spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was equipped with everything we needed (including a... More

Nice clean rooms, not too big but good enough. The breakfast is really nice, great variety of food meeting the great quality as well. The building itself feels a bit like a labyrinth if you stay in the new wing but you can find your way after a couple of days :) I was satisfied with the bar restaurant as... More

I stayed here for one night for the opening night of the 'Berg' beer festival. Checkin was quick and easy and the staff friendly. Room was large and the bed was really comfy. I paid eur145 for one night including breakfast. My company was paying but I think the price was inflated due to the beer festival. Breakfast was amazing... More

nice hotel, have been here 20+ times and visited some of the other hotels in erlangen as well. polite service, relatively big hotel compared to other erlangen hotels. like the fact that its close to the center (go out and eat in the center, you'll save lots of money). some of the rooms are spacy and have a bath, some... Dear Guest , thank you very much for your feedback and for staying in our Hotel. Regards your comment about saving money while eating out in the city center does not really apply. Actually we have introduced a second Restaurant i.e. our "Bistro Ernesto" where you can enjoy fresh made italian food at very competitive rates (6-12 Euro). We are... More

I stayed at Bayrischer Hof several times. The location of the hotel is good in proximity to the pedestrian area including a shopping mall, to Siemens offices and not too far from the city center and the university. The rooms are a bit a hit-and-miss-affair: I had often generously sized rooms, but twice also rather small rooms in the rear... More

I've stayed in this hotel during a business travel. The room was small, but clean and the staff was very efficiente. As most of this region hotels, a bit too expensive for what you get. The biggest problem is the smell of fried food at breakfast. You leave breakfast needing a change of clothes...
