We chose this hotel based on the supposed helpfulness of the staff. We didn't really experience this helpfulness, more a sort of apathy whenever we tried to sort out a problem, particularly when one of us was taken ill. The smell of cigarette smoke lingers in the non-smoking rooms, even though patrons are requested to only smoke on the balconies.... more

Hotel is located within easy walking distance to/from the train station. Rooms are nice and adequate for european rooms. Air and heat worked well. Breakfast wasn't that good. Front staff is friendly, but you have to wait for them to finish phone converations before they will help you (picking up room key upon return to the hotel). Probably nicer places... more
