The location is unbeatable. Very central in Garmisch and a historic hotel. They've expands into two new locations offer long apartments. The apartment we had was tastefully decorated and new...however very small and cramped with the furniture. When we made the reservation we indicated we had a 3 month old baby, however the bed provided was a pull out in... More

Location of this hotel is quite central, which is convenient, but there was lot of noise from the traffic and pubs nearby. In general the hotel was ok, the staff friendly and breakfast was adequate. And the sauna was actually really nice! We booked an apartment for three adults and were expecting something similar to the pictures on their website.... More

Oh dear .... what a shame. We stayed at the Posthotel a little over a week ago - my wife, young daughter and myself. We have previously stayed at the hotel in the early through late 90s (when it was under the previous management) and have also stayed at a number of other hotels in the Garmisch area while on... rooms were really nice but its very difficult. in the booking was advised that public parking would be available with payment. thats fine but there are only around 30 spaces and during the days we were there they were always full. the next space was miles away. reception staff member did not speak german very good and could have been... We stayed just one night, so I cannot say much about the facilities of the hotel. It's not modern, but it's very well located. Close to restaurants and town centre. I got a single room that was just fine, clean and comfortable enough, small bathroom without window. My friends stayed on a double room that was really nice, big windows... More

The hotel is right downtown Garmisch, close to the pedestrian walk, restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately there are only four parking spaces that belong to the hotel. If they're taken you have to find a public parking lot and pay by the day. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet for 12 Euro p.p. Convenient but a little steep for our taste.... More

We originally stayed here 20 years ago as part of a Silvesternacht skiing trip. this time we were originally making for Berchtesgaden but an overnight snowfall closed the pass so we diverted to Garmisch. We stayed in one of the hotel's apartments away from the main building and this was very spacious, fully outfitted with kitchen, separate living area, bedroom... More

Our stay in the Atlas Post Hotel Apartments was great! We stayed in apartment 4 during our stay, which had 2 bedrooms (2 beds in one room, 1 bed in the other bedroom, which also served as the main living area, but had a door). The apartment was spacious and perfect for us. Very modern (obviously recently renovated). The staff... More

We have been here several times during the last five years and it has really deteriorated. They have built a fast food kiosk adjacent to the front entrance that destroys the beauty of the traditional Bavarian structure. Can't believe the city council give them a permit to construct such an eyesore. We used to open the window for fresh air,... More

We stayed in 2 of the hotel's apartments on a family vacation in March. The apartments were beautiful and spacious. They were fully outfitted with kitchen, washing machine, full bath, separate living area and bedroom with a porch. The food (dinner and breakfast) in the hotel restaurant was nice. Convenient location just next to the walking/shopping district, and a short... More
