My wife and I spent a superb night in Partenkirchen thanks to Mrs. Fraundorfer and her wonderful Bavarian inn. It was everything we were looking for: perfect location, excellent and unobtrusive service, traditional rooms, and great food. The town is a gem and so is Mrs. Fraundorfer. Highly recommended. more

We travelled down to Garmisch from Munich for a few days and spend two days in the Frauendorfer. Our room was in a seperate building at the back of the main Gasthaus but it was beautifully clean and looked very new. Fantastic wooden bead and a fantastic view from our small balcony. The rooms are cute but are very small. The actual gastof is an absolute fire trap. In order to access each floor from the staircase you must open up a door with a key.
