Nothing is far away in Oberammergau, but it is nice to stay in an inviting accommodation that is well kept and staffed by friendly and helpful personnel. We particularly appreciate the recommendation to eat at Gasthaus Stern, a local haunt with great beer and schnitzels.

the whole hotel is renovated and beautifully decorated in bavarian style; the rooms are of high standard; the personnel is friendly and very helpfull; it is just a couple of hundred meters from the center of the city and therefore a recommendable quiet place to stay

We stayed at Antonia last week for 2 days, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was clean and comfy with fantastic views. At breakfast Erica was there to pour the coffe and advise us on our travels. We will be back with our family as soon as we can.
