We had an upgraded room which was like an apartment, it was beautiful! Very spacious and comfortable. We did half board and the breakfast was fantastic, lovely choice of fruits and breads (there are meats and cheeses too but I don't eat these!). Evening meals were surprisingly good, we were concerned but for no reason. Kind, helpful staff. Worth more... More

First problem, we had to leave early because of my husbands job and the owner lady would not complete our VAT form because she said she was too busy but she would mail it to us........we did pay the total of our stay which we feel is the right thing to do; we are still waiting for the VAT and... Hotel comfortable, clean e chipper. I appreciated a lot my solution due garden access and for the good quality of sleeping. Close enough to the centre, easy to reach every side of Oberammergau. Good breakfast.

We found this hotel during our visit to the Bavarian Castels, the village has a strategic location near to the Linderhof castle and not too far from the most famous Newschwanstein. The structure is very simple even if the prices are very high compared to the other structures and considering the quality services provided. We selected this hotel beacause was... More

This charming alpine-style hotel is situated in 5 minutes from Peter&Paul church, i.e. in the centre of Ammergau. Very clean and cosy, it gives the feeling of Your friend`s house, not the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and the views are fantastic, on the second floor especially. It took us only 15 minutes to get to the Wallenberg centre... More

This quiet hotel situated on the edge of Oberammergau was a great base for our week's walking holiday in Bavaria. The room was clean, spacious and quiet, situated at the rear of the hotel. The spa was excellent and the food in the restaurant was extremely good. We had booked half board but were never tempted to eat outside of... More

Small room, clean, efficient, but rather mean staff. It may be cultural, but no coffee to go because no coffee cups was their explanation And staff enjoyed saying No more often than I could count. They try, but I also recently stayed at a hotel in Lermoos, Austria, and the customer service was amazingly normal..... Customer focused. I am here... More

A very pleasant family run hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Went for a week half board and choice of dinner was a little limited, and also had to be ordered at the breakfast time, but food was well presented and tastey, Omerammergau itself offers a number of good restaurants. Overall a... More

Stayed here for a week while at a conference at the NATO school and was very pleased. The room was clean and large, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate...not huge, but everything I need: eggs made to order, fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, etc. the restaurant has a good menu and good chef. I ate there every night. It's typical German... More

Just out of the centre, but Oberammergau is compact and access to buses and trains is fine. We spent a week here on a walking holiday. Our double room, at the front of the hotel, was clean, simple and we'll equipped, although we had to close the windows to sleep because of noise from the busy road. The food was... More
