We stayed in apartment number 5 which is an annex behind the main house. We had a large bedroom with excellent storage, a large living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a balcony leading from the kitchen, another from the bedroom and another from the living room. This means you are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing which... More

We recently had a 4 night stay in Mittenwald, renting apartments 5 and 6, for 4 of us. This was by far, the best accommodation we have had on our trip. The apartments are fully refurbished, spacious and spotlessly clean. They are well appointed and Karin has included many welcoming touches such as fresh flowers, beers, and a few consumables... In almost 50 years of world travel, we have seldom met a more engaging, thoughtful and accommodating inn keeper as Karin Notz. Her refurbished apartments are wonderful...we stayed 4 days in number four which has a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. We did not utilize the kitchen; however, you could cook meals and... More

Mittenwald holds a very special place in my heart & for our return trip, we decided to stay @ Haus Schweigart. As we are 4 adults, 2 of us stayed in Apartment 4 which is cozy, with a small well fitted kitchen. It has a balcony with a lovely view of the mountain. Apartment 6 is on ground level, with... More

Wonderful apartment. Very spacious, super clean and well equipped. Lots of lovely touches with fresh flowers, chocolates, complimentary beer, juice etc in the fridge. Only five minutes walk to the centre of the delightful town. Pleasant outlook with lovely morning sun. We arrived for the first snow of the year yet the apartment is very cosy and warm. Staying here... More

Our stay in Mittenwald in December was absolutely perfect. Our apartment was spacious and toasty with a balcony offering beautiful views of the mountains. The beds were comfortable and having a small kitchen really made life easier. On our arrival we discovered 2 beers, sparkling water and Coca Cola in the fridge waiting for us and fresh flowers on the... More

We stayed at the 1-room appartments for 5 nights after the New Year celebration in Munich and found Haus Schweigart to be a gem. It is a very nice house in Bavarian style with breathtaking views from every point. The furniture, kitchen, bath and toilet equipment look brand-new. The complimentary mini-bar with beer, water, some candies as well as the... More

We reserved a 5-day stay for mid-September on line. Communication with Karin (the owner) was excellent. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions. We stayed in apartment #5 – top floor of the annex building (behind the main house). Lots of steps (it’s on the 2nd floor), but, not difficult to maneuver. Parking was free on the... More

We have stayed in Mittenwald in the past and chose Haus Schweigart this time as a result of good reviews on Trip Advisor. There is little to add that had not been said. We have just returned from staying five nights in Apartment 2 - very quiet , well presented , and with a balcony that got the lovely sunshine... More

Lovely apartment (no 5. in the annex) very well appointed (two coffee machines!) and plenty of space. Quiet - amazing views of the mountains from the balcony. Host Karin very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. My daughter loved her two mountain dogs (bears in disguise). Idea location a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and yet...
