Our family group booked 4 rooms and stayed for 4 nights. This is a quiet, well run, large family hotel that delivers a good old fashioned Bavarian experience. The rooms are simply furnished in pine, spacious and very clean but the decor is tired and probably appeals to the older and the more conservative clientele ie : colourful carpets and... More

We visited the hotel Reiger for good food and drink after a good walk to the Leutaschklamm. It became our local stop off point after we went to Mittenwald last year. The sevice is good and friendly. If you want to, just go for a drink and see the views of Karwendel and watch the world go by.

We had booked half board here for 5 nights in mid-June. Our room was a junior suite with a south-facing balcony with a mountain view. The room was large, clean, spacious & comfortable. Breakfast and dinner both provided us with generous portions with the evening meal normally having 3 main course choices. The staff were attentive and friendly and were... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights - good location - just a short walk to the perestrian area, 10mins walk to the train & bus station & 15min walk to the cable car station - a trip up the mountain on the cable car is a MUST on a clear day but be prepared for a wait. The... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed my stay. Had two rooms left and the receptionist was kind enough to show me the room before I committed. Very nice balcony view of the surrounding hills and mountains. Breakfast was very good with a large assortment of meat, cheeses, fruits, veggies, cereal, bread, yogurt, and good coffee as well. Located... More

We were two grandparents, a daughter and two grandkids (10 & 12) staying for one night in two rooms. The rooms were large, nice and clean. Parking was a little difficult so they led each car to a diffferent place to park, but our car was not far from the hotel. The price was a little higher than B&B prices... More

We stayed here for one night in late September as part of a German road trip. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would certainly recommend the hotel. We speak only basic German, and though the front desk attendant was happy to exchange pleasantries with us so we could practice our language skills, he spoke perfect English as well. Upon... More

This was our first time at this hotel, and we were very pleased. Our room was very clean, excellent front desk was helpful and friendly. Free WiFi in the lobby. Breakfast was great even by European standards. Modern building in a great location. Parking OK but not plentiful except for city paid parking. If returning to Mittenwald, we would most... More
