We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bavaria. Parking was easy and check-in was even easier! We were in our room quickly, after a tour of the hotel, including a "snack room" where we could get food, water, beer... at any time. The room was spacious, bathroom modern, the bed very comfortable, and there was a nice deck with a... More

Beautiful little hotel in the Alps. The room was very romantic. The breakfast was very nice. staff helpful and friendly. Excellent views. Spa bath was refreshing. Walking distance from the train station and the little town.

A most excellent stay Wolfgang and the family made us feel really welcome, he was funny and helpful and gave us useful local tips to make our stay more enjoyable. A good breakfast with excellent views to the mountains from the breakfast room. Good sized, clean and attractive rooms with lots of useful amenities (fridge and sink in ours). Great... More

We enjoyed our three-night stay at the Hotel Bavaria. We were a little disappointed with the size and ambience of our room when we first saw it (Room 16, Typ Himmelreich on the second floor), but what it lacked in size it made up for in the view from the balcony looking directly out at the Watzmann. It also had... More

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel in late June 2014 and like it very much. The room is nicely updated. Hotel is charming. Service is very good. Breakfast is quality. Highly recommended and we will definitely consider this hotel first if we visit the area.

Just over a month ago I stayed at the Hotel Bavaria, and still miss it so much! Such a beautifully run family hotel with great charm and beautiful views. The family were so helpful and knowledgeable when we were asking them for advise about what to get up to. We stayed on the top floor in room 29 and it... More

We spent five nights here in July and very much enjoyed our stay. We don't like large hotels and this fitted the bill perfectly - family owned with lots of characted. The location is excellent, being 5 minutes from both the centre of town and the train staion. The whole of the hotel is exceptionally clean and the star of... More

Excellent customer service from reception. Were prepared for our arrival with comprehensive info pack in english. Spacious room with separate sitting area although conversely a small bathroom. Good breakfast but were slow to clean the tables so guests were having to remove dirty crockery themselves so they could use a table. The coffee machine is of particular note as great... More

Stayed here for three nights in mid-June, and can very highly highly recommend this hotel. The location is first class, being only a few minutes to the railway station, and a few minutes (up a steep hill) to the town itself. There would also appear to be good car parking facilities. The staff here were most welcoming, helpful and friendly.... More

This hotel is situated out of town although only five minutes walk from the centre and has the most amazing views out over the valley. Our room was a good size with two balconies, a good bathroom but otherwise rather dated. No bar or restaurant and very low profile service at breakfast. Okay but had expected more.
