we stayed here for 7 nights as part of our 2 week week break in Austria and Germany. Super room with a view of the mountains which was large enough to fit a Sofa so handy for World Cup watching. All the Hotel staff from the Owner to the restaurant staff and Chambermaids were very helpful and indulged me when... More

We stayed here one night during our bike tour in the Alps and loved our spacious room and beautiful balcony with fantastic view. Dinner and breakfast was very good. We did not have time to try the spa but seem very attractive. The lady in the reception and the rest of the stuff were extremely kind and helpful.

Unfortunately we could not stay at this wonderful hotel since all rooms in Berchtesgaden were fully booked on August 15. The receptionist was very helpful and called at least 10 other hotels in the area to inform if they had any rooms. If he didn't help us that evening we would still be looking now in that area for rooms.

We stayed here for two nights when we was visiting Berchtesgaden and The Eagles nest. Beautiful hotel and the staff gave us the best service! Delicious breakfast - and every resident had their own private table in the dining room :-) The Spa was also excellent! If we one day will return to Berchtesgaden - Alpenhotel Fischer will be our... I recently stayed here and although the hotel was good, it was not great. The hotel is on the Main Street out of berchtesgaden and our room faced this street, so the traffic noise was an issue but he views were good out toward the alps. The staff were friendly and always ready to lend a hand and were also... More

We were there in may 2013. Booked the hotel for my bf birthday as he always wanted to visit the eagle s nest. I m belgian and should speak german as well as french as flemish but unfortunately have just notions of flemish and german. Anyway, a few things to say to improve the quality of the stay at this... The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Ours had a balcony terrace with excellent views of the alps. The service was good and the staff was polite, but lacking in the friendliness that we experienced throughout the rest of Europe. This could be a cultural thing. Breakfasts were very good and a lot variety. We also had some dinners at... More

As other reviewers have already written, the hotel is okay, but not special by any means. We stayed at the Alpenhotel Fischer for 4 nights in July and had a Watzmann Room - which offers views of the Watzmann mountain from the small balcony (the third highest mountain in Germany). The room was spacious, clean and functional, but somewhat lacked... More

We spent at this quiet place a few nights each year for a couple of years since the late 1990's. On Christmas Eve and Day they had warm guest gatherings in the small lobby and bar with a nice local traditional alpine folklore music band. A very good location for those traveling to the Eagle's Nest and Koenigssee Lake. Walking... More

We stayed here 3 nights and found the hotel facilities and service to be a very good standard. Our room was comfortable with a small balcony (limited views), but well equipped with TV, Minibar, safe and a good bed. We had pre-booked B & B but on arrival were offered half board for 13 Euros a night each. We decided... More
