Upon check-in, I received a guest card that I used for the Documentation Center, Kehlsteinhaus (aka Eagle's Nest), and the parking lot. Positives; Excellent staff, attentive and helpful. negatives; No view from room other than grassmound outside window. No balcony. Poor electric lighting in room. Could not even read at night. Stayed 6 nights. Reception staff were so helpful even before we left Australia for our trip. (Regarding which train to catch and the best price). Hotel rooms nice, beds good, breakfast excellent, again resturaunt staff very friendly. Bavaria really treats the tourists well. Would recommend the hotel and the town of Berchtesgaden.
