I absolutely recommend this hotel. It is quite small, clean, well kept and quiet. Rooms have a mountain view. Breakfast is very good. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to trainstation (easy to do daytrips to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden Eagles Nest). Postoffice, Italian restaurant, bakery, kiosk, small general store, army clothes shop, hair dresser and ice cream... More

The Villa Rein is an easy 10 minute walk from the main train station. We were offered a choice of two rooms on arrival and took the one which had a balcony for the mountain views. The two rooms that we saw were large, had high ceilings and traditional decor, with a very large bed and plenty of wardrobe/storage space.... More
