We stayed there for one night. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right next to the train station and the parking is about 100 meters away hidden in an alley. Because of all the taxis and cars around the station, it could be hard to find a spot to drop off the luggage for check... More

We were here in November, and we know that the staff really tries to make the best of the situation, so I hate to write anything unkind, but I was shocked by the difference between the reviews I saw and the actual situation. I do realize most people are desperate for a room in the summer for the Festspiel, so... More

An excellent, well run and elegant hotel perfectly situated for the train station, Festspielhaus and city centre. Has a fine sauna and swimming pool and convenient safe parking. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast exactly as it should be with a wide choice of cold food and eggs and wurst freshly cooked to order. Sadly the restaurant was closed for... More

We stayed here for the Wagner festival and it was perfect. Only 15 mins walk to the Festspiele house which you could see from the outside tables of the hotel - magic! Very individual rooms of high quality. We were on the back overlooking the garden and it was lovely. Especially impressed with the bathroom which was big and well... More

We stayed for one night in early June while on a driving holiday in Bavaria with friends and can honestly say the hotel was a pretty unexciting experience. Even allowing for torrential rain, the building and surroundings (it is next to the railway station) looked depressing. We had a suite with a distant view of the Festspielhaus which - although... The pro's: Next to the station, ideal if you travel that way. Halfway the Festspielhaus and the old town. Our reservation was upgraded by the hotel to the 'Suite' without any charges. It comes with a huge bathroom, a separate large bethroom (with TV) and a living room with TV, DVD/CD player (and some CDs and DVDs of the Meistersinger... More

This hotel was wonderful. We arrived Friday afternoon and the Receptionist was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. I don't know how well she spoke English because my German was enough to help both of us get by. Parking was in front of the hotel at a meter. The location of the hotel is right across the walkway from the Trainstation... More

On the plus side the Internet mostly worked. Junior suite was roomy and clean. Location near train station was good. Not noisy. Negatives would be that breakfast was not included and cost 13 euros. No parking was available due to renovations in the garage so we had to keep moving the car around.

1) We stayed with infant baby. For the whole hotel there was no kettle,no hot water available.Night porter at reception has no key to restaurant.I have ended up driving around the town at 2.00 in morning looking for hot water for babys milk. 2) When we have arrived reception has advised us that internet will be disconnected at 1.00 and...
